Vast and well-tended. All the plants are so healthy and the choice of outdoor or indoor plants is huge. A great display of garden furniture, outbuildings (sheds, corner seats, benches etc) offers a variety of choices to theme your garden. Books, gifts and fancy goods are on sale and the cafe is spacious with a good selection of hot and cold snacks and meals. For children there is an Aquarium and Reptile house to visit and the staff are patient and well-informed. A delight to visit.

Basically because of our good ol' friend, covid, the store is a fraction of its former glory days with empty spaces and missing the huge amount of flowers and plants of yesteryear. Still worth s visit but you have to look a lot harder for what you want and now they may not have it? Hopefully things will pickup as the year progresses?
COVID has long gone. Normal service resumed ages ago and is regularly our number one go to garden centre. We've had plants from here, garden lights, etc, etc.
The cafe is nice for a spot of lunch. 👍
It's got garden furniture and BBQ grills from affordable to a mortgage required job where at that price I would want someone to Cook it for me as well! 😂
It's got stuff for inside your home and even things to entertain the kids. In holidays you can also look out for special days when you can bring the children to events like animal handling ( for a small fee)
It also sells Aquatics and there's a small animal section too.
There's basically everything you can think of.
The car park is large.
Easy access for disabled and room to manoeuvre wheel chairs.

Not just a garden centre! It really is a shopping experience with so many products on offer: pet products, garden products, furniture, books and more… If you are looking for gifts this is a good venue to find something a little different. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly; nothing is too much trouble.
Plant prices were very reasonable and all plants looked top quality and healthy.
Came here today for hamster home supplies as I want to give my little guy a more diverse and fantastic home that would see to all his needs, and I feel confident I have all I need as well as all the knowledge I didn’t expect to leave with and that’s all thanks to Georgia who really knows her stuff!
Thank you again for a great experience and we look forward to getting all our hamster supplies from you guys going forward.

Fantastic garden centre and the food in the Old Glasshouse is superb.
Very easy place to get about if you are in a wheelchair like me. Disabled toilets could do with an update but usable.
The cafe is easy to access, food is good, not to pricey.
Lovey garden center with a range of items, the cafe was very good!! The Italian sausage roll was the best I have tasted and the hot chocolate was also very good!!
Brilliant place especially at Christmas. It's hard to get weed killer from other shops when its out of season but at this garden centre they have everything u need. The staff are really helpful as well, which is important.

Staff are always helpful and there is always a good selection of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers . Garden accessories (furniture, pots, lawnmowers etc) are always reasonably priced. The cafe serves good food and again is reasonably priced. All in all a nice place to while away a few hours while deciding on your purchases.
