Family owned and operated . Very clean , I love the entertainment ( live music and belly dancer on selected days only). My husband and I love the food, when we have guests who love Lebanese food , this is the place to dine. Also worth mentioning that the service comes with a genuine smile. Affordable and also on menu log. We hosted my daughters small engagement here last year. Everything went smooth, everyone was impressed with the food.

Great authentic Lebanese food that has a lovely ambience to it. This place has a large menu, full of things for the carnivores and picky eaters. The serving portions were good and well presented.

Quite simply one of Sydney’s finest authentic Lebanese restaurants. As a foodie I’ve been dining on Sydney’s Lebanese food for over 40 years. Amater is a up there with the best We ordered a mixed platter which consisted of three meat skewers, babaganosh, hummus, garlic sauce, tabouli, kibi, and Spinach pastry served with Lebanese bread. We ordered a plate of falafel as a side. The quality of the meat was excellent and was cooked to perfection with a perfect charcoal caramelised flavour. The shawarma was delightful, the lamb was succulent and the chicken was moist. Flavour plus. The kibi was caramelised on the outside, moist on the inside with a perfectly balance of flavour. The falafel was incredibly moist on the inside, caramelised on the outside with a rich flavour served with pickles and a beautiful tahini sauce. Tabouli was light, fresh, moist and seasoned to perfection. Hummus and Babaganoush was rich and creamy as was the garlic sauce. We finished with a gorgeous fresh baklava (sourced from the award winning Ibrahim’s bakery Rockdale) The menu is comprehensive and the food is of the highest quality. Service was exceptional, attentive but not obtrusive with a friendly disposition. The decor is lovely and upmarket casual. Perfect for an intimate date or a large group. The prices are medium range but considering the quality and ambiance of the establishment, represents pretty good value I’m giving this place a well earned 5 stars and my recommendation. I’m looking forward to a return visit.

Easy to find and enjoy traditional Lebanese food. The food was fantastic and the mezze was just too good. Great place for small functions. Try the fatoush salad and the sambusik.

This resturant is simply excellent. The owner is such a lovely lady. We were a small group if 5 and went for Christmas office closure. OMG . Location excellent plenty of parking. Ambiance was terrific. Now the food believe me as one who travels often OS including Lebanon and me has Syrian friends whose mums make a variety of dishes can I say that this resturant is hands down the best middle eastern food I have eaten. Also and importantly the serves where plentiful. I should say so impressed was i on this day with the food that I ordered some takeaway to share at home with others. So for a great place for a great atmosphere and simply stunning food and lovely owner di yourself your family and friends a dAViyr and go and try. I had baba homus and labneh with extra garlic and mixed platter chicken oui and skewers. Seriously it is terrific. Cheers Wayne Condon
