Great hidden gem in the village. Large two floor seating which was full of ambience and filled will Greek decor. Food menu was extensive with massive choice, highly recommend the meze, an honestly filling meal, doggie bag was required !
Amazing food and excellent service! Staff were very friendly and the orders were taken fast as well as the staff being very attentive! Would definitely recommend it to others!

Went yesterday on Mother's Day very busy staff rushed off their feet rest of party received main course me and hubby waited ages for our Meze bit couldn't fault them gave us free drinks for the wait and it was worth wait. Was rather worried about coming here as came years ago and didn't like it definitely better now and a rather handsome waiter !!
Great restaurant,26 of us went there for a bite to eat after watching panto,the food and staff were excellent,especially our waiter who had his hands full looking after all of us,he handled it like a true professional.
Food was excellent, staff really friendly and although really busy, we were not rushed at all . Very reasonably priced would definitely return and recommend x

Had a wonderful 60th birthday meal here with the family, all of us had different dietary needs with one of us being vegan and one vegetarian, the meal was fantastic the service was very friendly, for me being vegan the choices of restaurant are small, will be going again very soon

A lazy afternoon with family and a wholesome lunch is my recipe for a perfect sunday! And that is exactly what I got after a visit to the Greek Taverna.I was pleasantly surprised by their vegeterian spread which leaves you licking your fingers!The portions are quite generous with a great value for money.The vegetarian platter is a must have for people who prefer veg food.
This place is superb!! The food is just lovely and the atmosphere is superb. I managed to get a table for two on Friday night. The staff were really busy but were still friendly and helpful. Have the mixed grill if you are going, it's just delicious.
Highly recommend the Greek Taverner food is fresh and beautifully cooked. Me and my wife try go at least twice a month. Staff are very helpful and friendly providing genuine customer service. I can highly recommend the Maze if there is 2 or more of you.
The Old Bexley Greek Taverna. The first thing you notice about this restaurant is the buzz; great atmosphere. The service is good, friendly and quick, they are very busy which is a good sign. The starters were good with plenty of choice. The main meal portions a generous even by our standards, especially the mousaka, if you have a small appetite have a light starter, eg haloumi. The baklava is to die for!! finish off with an ouso (not sure of spelling!).
Review of Old Bexley Greek Taverna. My partner and I visited the Old Bexley Greek Taverna on 14.02.2010 and all I can say is - the restaurant, the staff and the food was fantastic. We have been to this restaurant a few times now and on each occasion we have enjoyed the experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
Great night with work team. Great atmosphere and even better food, we didn’t have to wait too long for food in between courses with was helpful.
There was over 16 of us but no issues or delays.

A quirky Greek Tavern in Bexley. We had a day trip to collect a piano and decided that we need to stop for lunch before the long trip back North.
The food was good (my hubby and I both had the Pork Souvlaki and a portion of chips) and the service was great. Lovely to see the place bustling. The decor is a little dated (maybe it’s intentional) the menu had seen better days. Overall experience was good and if we do happen to be around again we will consider visiting and do recommend the place.
Cozy location with great service and excellent food. Our waitress was nice, attentive and made us feel welcomed. Will return when back on holiday.
Hadn't been here for over 20 years. Menu, food, service, atmosphere just the same as before. The moussaka was excellent and great value. A winning formula. Why change a good thing.
We had been once before somewhat by accident so we decided to come again this time with more intention. We shared a meze (but asked for no seafood) and it was delicious and plentiful and we are sure to return!

Had a really nice meal, however, the table was booked, but had to wait an hour outside to be seated just aswell it wasn't raining, worth thinking about if its raining on the night of your meal.

This place does very good lunch deals. All the food we ordered was excellent, in particular the falafel, salmon and chicken/kofte kebab. Very friendly service and flavoursome food. We go back regularly.
It was my first time visiting today with my husband and baby daughter and we had the best time! The lunch menu was so varied, generously portioned and really reasonably priced. The mixed grill and mixed kebab dishes in particular were so flavoursome! My husband and I had three courses (baby just ate bits off our plates) and a drink each- the bill was just over £30!! Service was very prompt and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be returning!
As almost all of the other reviews point out, this is a lovely authentic Greek restaurant. Food is simple, as Greek is supposed to be, and plentiful. Great quality, great service, great value. Can get very busy so book ahead!
