On a Saturday night, kids should NOT be running around a pub dining area screaming & treating it like a personal play ground.. the adults were shouting with thd kids & chasing them around as well in play... Couldn't have a decent conversation with the disturbance & the management shoukd have stepped in & quietened them down... no excuse for that behaviour & it spoilt the evening. As a result its put myself & others off from frequenting a pub that has in the past provided good food & service..

Food, Atmosphere, drink and service was excellent. My only criticism is the tables are close together, my thoughts were if someone was in a wheelchair it would be tricky without disruption to seat that person. So maybe remove a couple of tables to accommodate. When people went passed my table I was nudged numerous times.

Having eaten out lots this summer holidays (I am a teacher and mum), I was so impressed how lovely this place was, and in comparison to the many other places I have been, this was my favourite. It is therefore worthy of a review. Having not been here before, I booked a table for 9. When I arrived, the table was already clearly labelled and reserved. This was a great start. I was then served by Shania who was polite, welcoming and patient whilst we all did our separate orders. Our food was then brought out by Jess, who despite having lots of plates to bring out to our large party, was smiley, understanding at the different requests we were asking for and nothing seemed too much trouble. She had a really warm manner and again, this has not been my experience in other similar establishments. We will definitely be returning. Food was nice, great range of choice and very reasonable. The cooks I was informed were called Amy and Anita. Well done Traveller’s Home.

My uncle is in a large electric wheelchair, I read online that the pub was wheelchair friendly, so we gave it a try. We were meet by Jess who went above and beyond to find the correct table for us to be seated at (table style and height an issue usually) we changed tables a couple of times, Jess made no fuss and moved our cutlery and ensured we were comfortable. She explained the menu and showed us the back access, which she thought might be easier for us. She is a credit to the team. The food was fresh, well cooked and tasty. We have unfortunately had many bad experience, where we have been not to feel welcome and felt a total inconvenience. Im glad to say Jess and other staff made our trip a pleasure, we will definitely be returning. Such a pleasent change.
