Excellent value! Very good fish and chips.
£7.70 for a small cod and chips with a coke. It was more than enough to fill me up.
The folks behind the bar were nice enough. Place was clean.

Banging chips and decent batter also. Think it was cash only, which is irritating as who has cash these days but plenty of atms nearby. It's good food that is reasonably priced for portions sizes. Still unsure whether sauce should be incorporated into costs or sold individually... this is personal preference, but something about paying 30p for a squirt of mayo or for a sachet irritates me!

This was the first chippy I tried after moving to the area, and I can say with great certainty that I wasn't disappointed. Service with a smile, generous portions of chips, and very reasonably priced. The only reason I haven't given a five-star review is because of the curry sauce, which is more like chicken soup (still delicious, to be fair). Thanks, Market Square Fish Bar!

Really good Batter, chips were lovely too, Staff are lovely and friendly. only reason it’s not a 5 is due to the Curry sauce.. afraid it was not nice. Change the sauce and You’ll get a 5* from me... I will be back..

Excellent little place. Fantastic old school feel and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced, and delicious food, good portions and great quality. The fish and chips was superb!!!

Excellent! I often drop in for a bag of chips and if we want take away cod and chips this is the place we prefer.

My father and I had a fabulous Haddock and chips at the Market Square Fish Bar in Bicester.
After a long day of moving furniture we decided we would like fish and chips an dwere drawn to the smell. The service was good adn the portion size was exceptional however the taste was superb.
I've told everyone I know who visits Bicester to go there and eat in.
