Staff friendly, usually go at night when they are filling shelves so lots of cages around but I don't mind as not too many people around

I am a celiac and after trying the Cornish Pastie cafe and seeing Costa had nothing for me for lunch, we came to Asda. Not only did the ladies in cafe help us out with what was gluten free but they also took such care to make sure it was prepared safely and told me of risks (it was a toastie so would come out of its bag steaming hot) and they were brilliant. We had lunch in cafe twice on our holiday and the staff were so amazingly friendly and food was exceptional. Amazing experience and a great change to have such pleasant staff members.

Sizeable portions of food at the cafe. Kids eat for £1 offer was running at the time, which was even more of a bargain. Everyone left satisfied for a great price.

It is a very large store and you can find a very wide variety of products. At almost every corner you will find a member of staff willing to help with any questions you might have.
They have very good offer most of the time, especially if you want to buy in large quantities.
Another plus is that the superstore is open 24h a day 3 times a week, therefore it is good for those people that woke up very late and they need something to eat or drink.
The prices are not the smallest but they are compeeting with similar restaurants like Sainsbury's.
To conclude it is a good place to do some shopping.
