The Old Jail - Biggin Hill - Photo album

Went today for the first time as a neighbour had recommended and it was their Jubilee garden party - we were two families with 5 kids under 5 and it was fantastic! We were there early so the place was getting ready for a busy day, but the staff were great and very helpful which started in the car p
The Old jail in Biggin Hill is a genuinely old English pub with excellent food and a good selection of drinks. It has seating for eating and drinking inside and out, the garden is quite large and also accommodates some play equipment.  It also has a reasonably sized car park but poor mobile receptio
The food was delicious, highly recommend the short beef ribs, wow. The staff were also super nice and attentive. Really great cosy vibes and love the fireplace!
Love this pub! Used to be my 'local' many moons ago, so it was lovely to have a pint here after so long. Hasn't changed much, which is nice 😊 went for a quiz night, great fun and staff lovely. Def recommend.
Went here today with my family for a Sunday dinner. We didn't book ahead but the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and make sure we had a great time. Fantastic “Inn” to visit. The food is exceptional especially the Steak. Lovely atmosphere. So many beautiful plates, pictures from the War years. It’s a must and cannot wait to go back.
Beautiful rustic restaurant in the middle of nowhere ( if there can be a middle of nowhere in Kent). Very near Darwin’s house, the very house where Charles Darwin wrote the iconic “The Origin Of Species”. Plan your trip to visit the house and have a nice lunch in the Jail House.
Lovely Sunday roast lunch. Large portions. Beef and chicken very tasty. Children's roast meal was really good value also. Young lady staff were very pleasant and attentive. Chef came out to see if we were happy. Looking forward to going back when the weather's better so we can sit outside where the

Great place. Been here a number of times. Started coming just as lockdown finished the first time. Little gem of a place. Hidden away so has to be worth going. Great food. Good beer. Nice staff. They managed to book 6 of us in at very short notice. Manger on site was excellent, warm and welcoming, all staff attentive without being smothered. Limited menu on a Sunday but the pub food was excellent, everyone was happy with their dishes. A lovely rustic pub not a standard homogenized gastro p
I really loved this little pub. Nice surprise that it has a playground outside for the kids. The food here is amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely old style pub.
Very nice, well kept ales. Great food and nice friendly staff. The pub itself has a lovely cosy feel and the beer garden is large, with a children's play area.
