What a Lovely Pub !
Went to the Nags Head last night for the first time. Some really lovely features around the pub that makes it feel so warm and inviting. Good selection of beers straight from the barrel. Lovely friendly staff that made you feel very welcome. Unfortunately I didn't try the food so
Beer was well kept the right temperature at a ok price free car park. Staff are very friendly, we found a table very early by the window and had a nice lunch. We will go back.
Asked for a ham sandwich, on a Sunday lunchtime, no problem, even came with a nice side salad.

A most excellent pub dining experience, though the menu is quite short, there is a good variety of pub food, cooked and presented to a very good level. Lovely food and good staff made for an enjoyable visit.

A proper pub with lots of atmosphere. Good range of reasonably priced Beers, wines and spirits . Also good range of snacks or cooked food , if required.
Nice friendly atmosphere in comfortable surroundings with outside seating as well.
Good sized car park. All bar staff are friendly and efficient. J

We went to this lovely pub on boxing day, it was very busy, the two girls working were superb , nobody had to wait. Well done 👍

A great pub actually. I’ve got quite a nice bit at the back and they do some very good points of real ale and it’s very friendly. I try to make it a pitstop when we go out for a bike ride.
I had my birthday celebration on Saturday 26 th September and everything was superbly taken care of . The food was amazing ( so well presented ) The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. And Linda, Jenny and team made sure it was a birthday to remember. The Nags head ( in my opinion ) is head
Best pub in Essex, in my opinion. Food is great during the day and evening back to traditional pub.
Varied live music events to suit all tastes. Lots of activities that support local charities and activities.
