Lovely atmosphere, great staff. My youngest daughter is gluten free and they managed to offer her multiple meal options whereas other restaurants tend to have a very basic gluten free range. Will come again.

Incredible food, great friendly service. Lovely meal for Mother's Day with a free glass of bubbles too! We have already recommended to our friends, this is no longer pub food, but a restaurant in a pub!
This was a random stop and so glad I did ... I had crab which was lovely. A pint to follow which went down very well. Decided to sit outside in the sun and let food and drink go down before setting off again.
I will and can't wait to go back for an evening. �

Great pub. I booked for myself and 20 others and they were really accommodating. Only lets you book 15 online but I gave them a call and they happily changed it. Really friendly staff and a great clean atmosphere. The food was tasty and I'd really recommend the pizza. It's massive and decently priced. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
Took a large group (40+) to the restaurant last night. The service was excellent along with the food.
I enjoyed the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection, and some of our party had the specials which were utterly amazing.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good quality Italian food.

Plentiful dishes, expertly prepared at very reasonable prices.
Tomohawk steak represents excellent value for money and all dishes for a party of 14 served at the same time.
Very attentive and family friendly service.
Price per head includes a number of drinks including 5 bottles of wine.
9/10 would recommend.
A nice old house to go with friends or families, super friendly staffs and the foods are good but for me a bit salty.
We had a wonderful meal here with a warm, friendly welcome, delicious and delightful Italian dishes, in the ambience of a wood-beamed English inn. The highlight were the exquisite handmade pasta, and a fantastic pistachio cake (with which I strongly recommend the option of chocolate ice cream alongside). Many thanks to the owner and staff for a relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Roast beef was awesome not chewy at all but succulent and very tasty. It's very hard to find a place that do good roast pots and I'm so happy I've now found a place.

Pitched at the Limeburners, and they suggested this place for good food. We received a really friendly welcome, and the venue itself has great character.
We shared a cheese and meats platter to start. Then moved on to carbonara, pollo milanese, carne pizza, and the special of a tomahawk.
We all really enjoyed our choices. The tomahawk was amazing, and were so stunned at its size, we forgot to take a photo. It is great for two to share... we all tried it and were impressed.
This is a dog friendly venue, and they gave us a corner location to give us space for the dogs to sit.
We would definitely come here again.
This is the best italian restaurant we have been to for years,the food was just fabulous,the staff were excellent. We went reasonably early around 6.30pm but it was quite busy,we have moved to west sussex very recently and found some restaurants abit wanting but this one was just terrific.,well done them and we are glad we have found you.
Had a lovely dinner last night at the Blacksmith Arms 😋 food was delish and the service was great. Food is made fresh so if you need to change something in the dish for allergy or dietary preferences you can! Thank you chef! 😊
Really nice vibe. Great selection of drinks. Food is really tasty. Only thing I would change is to have a bit more room for people wanting just drinks. However that being said I really like the little snug with the arm chairs.
The food was absolutely amazing. One of the best roast dinners I have ever tasted. Perfect beef, gravy was delicious. Could not fault anything!
First time here, made to feel very welcome and looked after. Food was absolutely delicious, had grilled fish special and it wad cooked perfectly. Had to have the tiramasu for pudding and didnt regret that either. Host/Owner is very welcoming and attentive which makes for a great impression.
Found this place by accident while staying nearby, and it was SO good. I didn’t realise it was an Italian restaurant at first. We were so hungry and the portions were huge. The service was lovely, the food was quick and hot and just wow! I couldn’t fault anything at all! A real 10/10
Stopped on the off chance to get food on way home. Quick efficient service - steak was like butter best one eating out in so long. No complaints. Very busy. Great prices. Readily recommend.
Dating from the 14th century, this is a very old building that has been substantially extended, now mainly as an Italian restaurant. Original beams in the old dwelling. Good selection of beers, excellent food and friendly staff.

This restaurant is wonderful. I have eaten here many times and it's consistently excellent. I recommend the pear and gorgonzola pasta. And the pistachio cake is to die for. The staff are always so welcoming and attentive. Well worth a visit.
