Got married and had our reception in their beautiful bar/ restaurant.The drink was flowing .food excellent and service was beyond the call of duty by all staff.staff here know what their job role is.we all had different meals selected off the menu which most certainly didn't disappoint.A feast .Our wedding day was a great success as of the care taken of my new wife and our party by all staff involved.

AMAZING PLACE, drinks are always bang on, not had food there in a long while. Needs a good lick of paint and a deep clean instead but not unhygienic just a little grubby but still love the place and the outside area is brilliant and my pint of guinness was perfect as per

Lovely area to sit by the canal watching the boats sail by. Plus sat indoors for short while lovely food good friendly staff and atmosphere.

Wife had a lovely steak & kidney pudding. Loved it. Myself I had a chicken sandwich. Again very nice. Lovely warm day. Beautiful setting.

We were table 25 on Sunday. We enjoyed Sunday roast beef dinners served hot, generous portions, couldn't fault. Ice cream sundae desserts were fantastic. Real ales were on top form. Only criticism was we had a speaker playing music right above us which made conversation difficult wouldn't hesitate to return though. Great experience.

'Owd Nell's Tavern is located within Guy's Thatched Hamlet. There is plenty of parking available. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a large outdoor seating area. The Tavern offers a great choice of drinks from soft drinks, tea, coffee to wine, cask kept ales and lagers from around the world. The food is good, home cooked and your typical pub grub and reasonably priced.

Owd Nells Tavern is situated within the quirky Guy's Thatched Hamlet. It is a busy pub with indoor and outdoor seating right next to the Lancaster Canal. There is a great selection of drinks available including quite a few draught ales. The food is mostly pub grub and pizzas but is very reasonably priced and really tasty.
