Food was outstanding. Lovely setting with a warm atmosphere. All staff we saw were new, either first shift or fourth day but really friendly just being new to the job showed and service was slow. However, they were polite, apologetic, explained fully and were trying their best. Will definitely visit
Fantastic meal and friendly staff. Book ahead is definitely recommended as it gets busy! +Specials menu as well as normal menu +Food tasted really good, presented nicely +Salted caramel sundae was best I've ever had. Pretty sure the whipped cream was freshly whipped, non of that can rubbish. +Nice
Went here today for the last time as being demolished to put a road in. this pub was built 220 years ago and such a lovely place. Talking to different people today who gone just to say end of an era. I've put this as a review just to show that history is so important.. This is set on the A417 and to

The pub is on a major road intersection and has a good sized car park. It is very nice inside. Lovely staff. Well priced beers, gentle music. Never been before but I'd definitely come back!
Fine, good food, service fine, pub is a bit tatty round the edges
Stopped here for a break and coffee. Quick service, good coffee, friendly staff. Plenty of outside seating.
Excellent attentive service. Some dishes a bit overpriced. Good experience overall.
Fantastic country pub, great food and really friendly staff. Had lunch and dinner here great value for money. Will be coming back to eat again as have family this direction.
Very friendly staff and good food 👍
Really good lunchtime stop. Very impressed with the 3 course dog menu and service overall. Will definitely return again.
Lovely place to visit. We were warmly welcomed by the staff where they mentioned that there may be a delay for food due to only having one chef but we didn't notice any significant wait. Imogen was the lady who was assigned to our table and was very polite throughout. Thank you once again for a wond
We stopped in quickly on a long journey rather than driving to some services. Very welcoming and accommodating, it was Sunday but they cooked up some chips for us - 2 very happy children and happy parents! Thank you very much!
Driven past for over 50years, Always left it to late to pull in, It is closing on New year eve, prior to being demolished for a new road, Lovely place, friendly staff, A sad memento of modern times
A lovely restaurant with great food choices. It is spoiled by the poor lighting not enabling you to read the menu at the table. The staff are friendly. Car parking is available with exits on to very busy roads.
Local favourite pub in a great spot in the Cotswold AONB with fab views of Glos. Good selection of wines & beers to enjoy in lovely outside garden area overlooking the hills and Severn valley. Food is good quality food with varied menu. Some dishes suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Small playgrou
We originally booked a table at the Royal St George but when we arrived their water supply had just gone off so they weren't serving food. Rang the Air Balloon and booked a table at very short notice and the food was absolutely delicious. There was only one person behind the bar but she was a credit
