Went on Sunday lunchtime. Drive through was quite busy and there were a few delivery drivers. However, there was still space to park and inside the restaurant was quite quiet, probably 20% full, if that.
Staff were really friendly, especially Donna who brought the food to our table. Unlike many McDonald's who serve up soggy fries, the fries here were lovely and crisp. The Chicken Big Mac was nice, although on the fence over whether better than the beef. The Chicken Selects were tasty and crispy.
The interior of the restaurant was spacious and kept very clean. Will definitely return.
Atmosphere was my car which was absolutely banging! Service was slow, had to park around the corner as a poor lady played hunt the car in the rain, I felt sorry for her. I felt even more sorry when they got my order wrong and she had to go back in and correct it. If it wasn’t for her great attitude I would have moved my car again to take my hide and seek game to the next level. I didn’t. She gave me a bag of sauces in compensation for their issues. Wonderful lady forgot her name but she’s was ace.
One of the better McDs with good parking g access and a ply area for kids. Service is a bit slow so lost a star for that. A bit flat atmosphere wise but that could be cause I had to wait forever for my order
This was the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been in, and the person cleaning was taking a real pride in her job, and said she wanted it to be as clean as when it opened. The food was hot. The staff seemed happy working there, so hopefully they are valued by their employer!!
The best McDonald's in the UK! The staff are absolutely lovely, they always go above and beyond. The restaurant is spotless, no exaggeration - you could eat off the floor! There's always someone walking about cleaning all the surfaces. The bathrooms are so clean as well (not common in a lot of McDonald's). On top of all of that, the food is really good, and it always comes out hot, and really quickly. Such a pleasure to visit this McDonald's when we're in the area!
Well done to all the staff and management, seriously good work done at this branch!
I only love two mins away from this McDonald’s and the chips and chicken nuggets always cold and milkshake not even cold and when I’ve ordered a vanilla milkshake there half cup full strawberry milkshake in the vanilla and never have ice frappe in at all why have stuff on menus if ya don’t have it on or working or anything
Served quickly despite being busy, very clean restaurant, extremely helpful/friendly staff. Shout out to Scott in particular who was very helpful re using the app and cleared our rubbish for us. Very polite young man, a credit to the branch!
We live in Manchester and were travelling back from the crucible sheffield on the M1
Kids wanted a macdonalds. Put in macdonalds and this one came up. On arrival we were greeted nicely by rhe staff. Put an order in and waited a while for order but staff kept asking if we were OK. When the food arrived everything was piping hot. Chips were full to the brim and everything was very tasty. The 2 ladies doing the cleaning and table service were very pleasant and the staff behind the counter including the lady manager were all very nice. Have to say from the mac donalds we have been to recently this was by far the best. With kids that is a lot of mac donalds. Deserves a better rating and when we go back to sheffield next year we would go back. Hopefully the experience would be just as good. Well done to the staff there for making our experience a good one.
Just got back home from here and 3 young lads smeared sauce tubs all over the play area and a young lady name Lydia who works there was fantastic on hand unfortunately our 6 year old had it all over her clothes. So Lydia A°+++ for your help really appreciate 🙂
The only problem I have at this mc donalds is the speed that people drive in they use it as a race track it needs some speed bumps in the entrance on the in side and the exit side I sat and watched people coming and going the speed they came in was ridiculous in my eyes it's a big health and safety issue and an accident waiting to happen
Took a while to get served, no staff was seen out front until order came out.
This McDonald's is in completely the wrong place, it needs top swap with the tankersley one which is unfortunately my local one where deliveries come from. In contrast, the tankersley one consistently
▪️Serves cold food
▪️Gives you medium fries when you've paid for large
▪️Misses items from deliveries or sends the completely wrong order altogether
▪️Never has the milkshake machine on
This branch (Birdwell) is the complete opposite, never had a single complaint 👌

Friendly and helpful staff do a fantastic job keeping the location tidy and clean with a smile and without complaint.
They were kind and offered assistance before and as it was needed with a welcoming smile.
The food was fresh cooked and enjoyable too. The ambience was good for a chat over a pleasant meal to recharge our batteries.
We will return, often
Dec 2022... Though we have returned weekly in last couple of months we find that the food is not consistent.
When complaints raised we told they got new trainees... well how long does it take to train new people, and surely there is a review card to see how each burger should be constructed. It feels as if the gurkin is in short supply recently...also burgers often do not resemble those shown... sauces ordered not always given, with no explanation....
This has been one of our favourites but lately the food has let it down.
Also a big difference in floor staff personalities... some bring your order and let you eat it while still warm, only checking briefly that all is OK AND that is fine with me,
meanwhile others seem to want to force you to go online and comment on the venue and name them as helpful... this is not what I come for.
I come to eat..., not to be pestered and prevented from eating.
Not sure whats changed behind the scenes but a shake up is definitely needed.
Very good. Fast food was correct. Hot. Will go again when that way.
