Plenty of room between the tables, this is important when you have twins under 2. Food was lovely (only had a hot sandwich) would definitely recommend the chilli chicken. Nice pint, friendly staff, good value. Thanks, will come again,
Nipped in for a large glass of wine to relax and kill time. I chose Malbec which was fine but didn't warrant the hefty price tag.
I sat outdoors and observed that the tables weren't being cleared or cleaned during the whole of my 40 minute stay.
Otherwise a nice pub occupying a lovely position.

Local pub in Oxton. Bit of a queue at the bar but it was a Saturday evening. I know they serve food but I was meeting friends for a drink so cannot comment about it. The Shrewsbury Arms bitter was very drinkable and reasonably priced.
Real nice meal. 2x gammon and a burger. The staff have been great 👍 helpful when it came to getting the best discount. Nice coffee too. Definitely coming again. Whoop whoop.

A nice friendly pub with a good choice of drink options. Seating in various areas to include an outdoor area and of course they are dog friendly.
Pleasant comfortable pub/eatery with quite a large beer garden allowing smokers & dogs + adjoining patrons only car park. It makes an ideal point for refreshments for anyone who has just visited the nearby Williamson Art Gallery on Slatey Rd just 3 mins drive away or Birkenhead Park just 5 mins driv
