I have been ordering take out from the Village for some time now, trying different dishes across the range. Never had a bad one yet. Every time the delivery has arrived piping hot and as ordered, delivery guys have been welcoming and chatty. Recently been having the North Indian Garlic dish, absolutely top draw, great flavours along with the coriander rice.. Highly recommend the take away service.
I felt a bit like our custom wasn't appreciated. Shame really because the food was really good. I think that the staff just need to adjust their attitude a bit. Vegetable dansak was brilliant.
Very clean and nicely decorated with lovely furniture. Food excellent and prices good. Unfortunately no one else in. Wednesday evening.
Had a wonderful Indian meal here, very tasty. Please ignore any bad reviews as this place had really nice food. No ‘wildies’ the next day either which was a pleasant surprise. My only advice is not to fill up on popadoms so you leave plenty of room for your main course. My friend ate 5 whole poppadoms so was very full and struggled with his main, what a silly Billy. Also if you’re feeling adventurous raid the Tesco over the road and lift some bottles of Cobra beer and take these in with you before they notice.
So we ordered a few weeks ago and loved how fresh and tasty the food was. It was full of flavour well cooked and hot in delivery. So we ordered again tonight.
When the food arrived on delivery it had Burst all over the place and ruined most of the order. I called the restaurant and explained what had happened… I also sent pictures to them for evidence.
With no hesitation or problem they replaced all the food with no charge. When the new food arrived it was gorgeous!

Excellent takeaway from the team at Village Tandoori, following on from several others I've had. As a boring, 'same menu-choices every order' type, I've tried quite a few other places, but this is my absolute favourite for my combo 'tandoori chicken main with veg curry sauce, lemon rice, tarka dal'

Woul love to thank these Guys with all our hearts 💕 when my husband had a dizzy spell just round the corner from here and smashed his face on the pavement.... couldn't get and ambulance or a taxi and so one of the guys from the India ran us up to Arrowe Park hospital and gave me his number for a lift back home....saying what ever time it was 👏👏 couldn't fault them at all and they where open and working....we owe you BIG time 👏👏💕🤗🤗
