Absolutely Delicious Gluten-Free pizza. Coeliac Safe and the staff were super accommodating and kind. One of the best Gluten-Free experiences we’ve had in a while. Also have Gluten-Free beer
Lovely little pub, fantastic food. Had the half pound cheese burger (served with fries and coleslaw) caramelised onions on the burger was a pleasant surprise and the chips were perfectly cooked

One of Birkenhead's few 'must visit' pubs. Packed with atmosphere and an excellent variety of ales and beers. The beer garden is probably one of the best in town.

Still fantastic food, the pizzas are to die for. Add the real ales - white rat and one I hadn’t tried before Mosaic, plus Aspalls cider on draught. It’s magic.
Proper pub, great choice of real ales.
Loads of history to the place.

I'm in my 40s and this was my First night in Birkenhead ever. Gallagherswas superb. I love the military paraphernalia in there and the beer garden area was excellent. Love the place. Between this the Swinging Arm and Mollys I'm considering moving over haha.
Happened upon this traditional pub whilst on a day out to Liverpool, caught the ferry (cruise they now call it) across to Birkenhead, great place with live music in the smart rear area! Busy with locals, obviously they know best. Made to feel very welcome, thanks guys.
Loved it, friendly staff and the pub was full of military memorials, we came up from Birmingham to watch the Tranmere game and popped in here to ask for a taxi to the ground,wish we could have stayed longer as they only sold my favorite rum behind the bar....Bumbu X
