Great little pub to have a catch-up with family and friends. Reasonable priced drinks compared to other pubs . Love the offers on the shots plenty to choose from too would definitely recommend . Good to watch bands in its a great atmosphere.
I play the Halfway House regularly with my band, the Vinyls. It's a top venue. Great sound and the bar staff and landlady are superb!

Love this big old pub. Atmosphere always great. Nice local crowd who get behind the live music andd know how to have a good time. Staff are lovely and beer is excellent.

Staff are always friendly attentive and prompt. The pub hosts a real community and the regulars are very welcoming.
It can be lively on an evening and the staff go to effort to book bands or host fun quizzes.

I had nit been in this pub for 10 years or more but was impressed. Really nice atmosphere owner is a friendly guy and locals are welcoming. The pub itself is really well maintained and clean.
I'll certainly be back in the summer for few more.

Staff are fantastic. We visited the bar side of the pub whilst on a family visit. Great prices and the bitter and Guinness are well kept. Okay selection of wines and the prices are v reasonable for a pub.

Probably one of my favourite pubs on the wirral, and without doubt the most covid secure places. Always a lovely pint, clean and welcoming and and really friendly atmosphere. We'll managed by Sam, backed up by Paul, Becky, Adam and all the other staff, nothing is too much trouble.
