Gaijin Sushi - Birmingham - Photo album

Came here early Thursday evening with my partner for a bite to eat before we went to the opening of The Lion King at the Hippodrome. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel really welcome, and we sat at the bar so we could watch the food prep. We stated that we had not tried sushi before
Hidden gem! This by far is the best spot for sushi in Birmingham. You can tell they really care about their product, especially when speaking to the main sushi chef. They are consistent and I would highly recommend!
The small storefront, upon entering, we discovered that we had been here many years ago. Since we arrived early and were the only customers, the service was exceptionally attentive. Because I really like salmon sashimi, we ordered salmon tartare, sashimi selection, dragon roll, and salmon aburi nigi
This is the best sushi I’ve had so far. It was very quiet when we had gone in which made the experience more intimate and enjoyable. The staff were delightful and the food was incredible. Price was reasonable and would happily come back.
Really lovely place in town, about 5-7 minute walk from new street station. It's very small inside, so two tables that seat 4-6 people each, and then seating round the bar, but it's a cosy atmosphere. The staff are attentive and make the food really nice, plus when you're sat at the bar you can see
The best sushi in the UK that I've tried. Warm, friendly atmosphere with brilliant service. Watching the talented chefs prepare your sushi right in front of you is such a brilliant experience. The quality of the food is also second to none! We tried so many things from the menu and when we couldn't
A nice local run sushi restaurant! Staff were super friendly and accommodating and the chef was very engaging too! Would recommend booking when coming as there are very few table spaces.
Hands down the best sushi I've ever eaten! The host and chef were so knowledgeable and helpful. See definitely recommend
Cool vibes, knowledgable+skilled staff and incredible food with top quality ingredients πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ”₯ Thank you so much for our wonderful meal, we will sure to be back again!
I have been to many sushi places, and I can say this is a pretty good one. The best I had in the Midlands. They have a great selection of sushi and some delicious sake to pair with. The sushi are prepared with care on order, and if you seat at the counter you can watch the chef as they prepare them.
