Found through a recommendation, and it matched our expectations.
It wasn't easy to find, tucked away down an alley, but well worth the trip. It is best to male a reservation to avoid being disappointed.
Service is spot on, warm, and welcoming. Food is lovely, traditional with a selection of homemade makes which can be taken away.
Would I recommend 🤔 - definitely 😀
We really enjoyed meeting Rav and Jazz who were full of warmth and enthusiasm. We learned about the role goat meat plays in Punjabi cuisine and then got to try it as part of this flatbread dish served with butter and yoghurt. I forgot the name unfortunately. They have recently taken over this business and we wish them the very best with it. The food was delicious, and though not the cheapest, it was cooked and served with great care and kept us full until well into the evening.
Food was nice and cocktails great! Friendly service. We shared the platter, goat curry (really good!), chicken in brown sauce (okay). Our gripe was the trio of patties. It was 1 cut into 3 pieces, not worth paying nearly £8. The bill for 3 of us came to over £100 which was quite a shock. Also to use the toilet you need to go outside into the cold and across the small alley.
Tiny little restaurant hidden away... Well worth discovering... Never really tried Caribbean restaurants previously, and this was excellent... Had the meat sharing platter to start and oxtail stew... Spice was beautiful, and so flavorsome..!!! My wife had prawns and red snapper... Equally delicious... Highly recommend this place... Drinks were awesome also.. thank you Jan.. ❤️❤️
Proper independent Jamaican restaurant in the jewellery Quarter. Mixed meat platter to share was delicious. Very friendly chef and staff. 100% recommended and will be going back for dinner when I'm next in Birmingham
Wow!! After just a few weeks of being open I thought I would book the restaurant for a corporate event. 25 customers and asked Rav and his lovely wife Jas to just create a menu and wasn't disappointed in any way. The famous Goat Curry was just INCREDIBLE as was all the food. Atmosphere was fun, friendly and professional, I left feeling part of the family!! I highly recommend 24 Carat Bistro for a small group or a large one. The warmth of welcome and the quality of food was perfect!! Thank you

Nice little restaurant hidden inside ai walkway. Caribbean dishes. Well presented. 3 course me he cost £27. as of January 2023. The owner Jan is lovely. The desserts were great and there was a good selection. I would definitely recommend. Excellent value.
Delicious food, authentic Punjabi flavours just like homemade. You will be hard pushed to find any restaurant that can deliver this authentic homemade style of cooking. The goat curry had a perfect balance of spice and heat, real spices with no oil and no powders. This type of cooking shows how the chef knows his stuff, exceptional. The rice was perfectly light and seperated. The quaint atmosphere with the fireplace makes it even more homely. Great host who's passion for cooking shines. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic restaurant! Cosy, warm, friendly, but best of all the most flavoursome food we’ve ever tasted. This is home cooked Caribbean food at its best! We came across this restaurant by chance and this will be the first of many visits for us.
A lovely gem of a little Caribbean restaurant fabulous freshly cooked food very friendly owners couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend. 😋😋
