Delicious food, an open fire and wonderful host & chef (Jan and Michael you are both are so lovely). Honestly such a great find, and nicely priced especially for 3 courses. Do yourself a favour and get yourself here for a meal!

Nice little restaurant hidden inside ai walkway. Caribbean dishes. Well presented. 3 course me he cost £27. as of January 2023. The owner Jan is lovely. The desserts were great and there was a good selection. I would definitely recommend. Excellent value.

What a fantastic restaurant! Cosy, warm, friendly, but best of all the most flavoursome food we’ve ever tasted. This is home cooked Caribbean food at its best! We came across this restaurant by chance and this will be the first of many visits for us.

A hidden gem in the Jewellery Quarter. Really enjoyed our visit. Food was delicious and evident that Jan and Mike really care about their guests. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return.

The food and service was 5 Star. I love Jamaican food and being a Jamaican myself I can be fussy when it comes to eating out.
The flavours was mind blowing tasty,
I had jerk chicken bites and chips and my daughter had the curry goat and rice both was cooked to perfection and tasted heavenly.
I will be returning to dine here💌

A well-hidden gem of a place. Booked for lunch. Delicious coconut chicken and jerk chicken burger, and the "arctic roll" (the name doesn't do this desert justice) was amazing! Really friendly service too.

Great place to enjoy some brilliant food. Really attentive and relaxing. Made for a lovely evening. Oxtail, curry goat, mixed starters, desserts and rums were all excellent.

Went as a group of 5 on a Saturday evening. It’s a tiny place, and tucked away, so make sure you have directions! We all had their 3 course menu which was a bargain at £27 (although we ruined that bargain by then adding numerous rum cocktails to the tab!)
Food was really tasty and there was a good range to choose from - main takeaway from the evening though was the wonderful friendly service.
Would recommend anyone to give it a try. I’m not local but would be happy to go back if I ever find myself in Birmingham again.

A very friendly lady served us in a really cosy place with a fire place. Food was amazing with the right level of spice. It's truly a hidden gem in the Jewellery Quarter.
Perfect for a couple or to go with your family.

Good selection, generous portions. Well cooked and very tasty, packed full of flavour. Topped off with wonderful, friendly service. They have a dom pedro selection I.e. milkshakes with liquors and the best strawberry margaritas.

Hidden gem
No seriously this is a hidden gem among the gold and diamonds of the jewelry quarter.
It's not the most obvious restaurant as it's hidden down the side passage of a shop.
Entering you get the feel of a small little home in Jamaica and welcomed as if you were family by the staff, like stepping into your grandma's for dinner.
When finding places like this most people stick to something obvious like a burger or something and chips, STOP !!!!! ask for their recommendations and take your taste buds on an adventure of flavour and you won't regret it. We didn't.
I had rice and beans with jerk pork, it was all cooked to perfection, sometimes you can get pork and it's been over cooked and it's drier than biltong. NOT THIS PLACE, the pork cut perfectly and melts in your mouth like butter.
My wife had jerk chicken and the meat fell off the bone, I snuck a bit and it was complemented by the sauce.
The one thing that BLEW OUR MINDS was the cornbread, now that was amazing, bursting with flavour and left us wanting more, I literally mean that, after our visit we went everywhere to hunt for some to enjoy at home.
The selection of food is just enough, not too much that the chefs are overwhelmed but most of the menu is home made and it shows, the flavour is there.
I cannot fault anything at this restaurant.
Get yourself down there and enjoy a piece of Jamaica, with the friendliest family atmosphere, most of all treat your taste buds.

Unpretentious, fantastic home cooked food full of flavour. Today's sticky toffee pud was awesome. Caribbean nights 3 times a month, well worth trying. Proper Brummy welcome.

Ordered a take away came half an hour after delivery time. Was just about warm and the starter and main I ordered was vile. Would not recommend!

I was with one of my friends and we decided to try this place. They serve large portions of hearty home cooked food at extremely reasonable prices. I had the cottage pie which was delicious, but would of preferred it to of been served with some veg rather than salad and chips ! My mate had lasagna which was nice. We loved it.
