Visited Coffee Tales in the Jewellery Quarter yesterday while visiting Birmingham. We had the gluten free hazelnut cake and a jacket potato with cheese and beans. We have been in the UK for 3 weeks now and this was the best jacket potato I have had since visiting! SOO good! The gluten free hazelnut

Been coming to coffee tales for years. The staff and owners treat you like family. The coffee is the best in Birmingham I think and they are happy to tweak it how you like. We have a double ristretto flat white and it's amazing. Food is top notch, definitely worth the price. I've seen them coming in
This is a superb independent café selling wonderful cakes and bakes in very generous portions. The tea and coffee are excellent, the staff are delightful, and the constant stream of customers is an indication of the popularity of this venue. The food here is so delicious. I always bring too many friends but nobody seems to mind when we share sofas or take up the big table. Staff are super friendly and helpful and it's a lovely atmosphere.
I visited this place nearly 3 years ago and stupidly forgot to add a review. I remember the barista crafted our beautiful looking coffees effortlessly. She described the latte art as a mechanical process rather than a creative one.
