Went on a Saturday quite busy. You can reserve a table . Went in the afternoon. Food was lovely but no veg with meals . Service was great but didn’t get my coffee order right first time . Food good . You can eat upstairs too. Toilets clean and well decorated. . ££. Location just outside Bullring . Yeah would go again but not the biggest of menus for choice Do an to offer a two or three course meal.
Very nice. Busy but didn't have to wait for a table. Service was excellent. Food was very good but lacked bit of extras ie bit of side salad on chicken n chips, with the steak or with the burger. I thought it was a bit expensive but it is the centre of Birmingham. We had the set menu but you have to pay £5 extra for the steak.
Outstanding customer service I normally wouldn’t start a review like that however it is the headline.
They had been an incident so traffic was delayed so my wife rang ahead to say we might be a bit late it was a Friday evening when the heavens have just opened. Monsoon weather in the middle of summer.
From the moment we got their you the staff was very pleasant and even delayed the closing so they could accommodate a few of the late comers on another table so if you’re ever in Birmingham I would highly recommend a visit

Had a lovely lunch, which was served by a friendly, smiling waitress. Rhian couldn't do enough. She certainly was a credit to the restaurant. The food was served quickly and was hot. French Onion soup / Garlic mushrooms followed by a steak baguette. All in all, a "Top Notch" experience.
Very nice place. We ordered a cappuccino and a vegetarian breakfast, it was very tasty! The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Absolutely outstanding customer care, by far the best I’ve received in a long time. The staff were very attentive and courteous and it was clear nothing was too much trouble… food was really tasty, presented well and served hot… it was a most enjoyable evening, I’d like to thank the staff of this cafe… would highly recommend and will definitely return 😁👍🏻
The perfect place to spend a wet afternoon with the family celebrating an early mothers day! Superb service from Irina and the team - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We used to visit a lot though times change and it's more difficult to get out and about though as a treat for mom we came back to our old haunt and it didn't disappoint at all! We had a lovely afternoon and mom was spoilt and very happy to be back! Thanks to all!

2. Steak and eggs (£12.95) - 5oz Black Angus Steak topped with two free-range fried eggs and a drizzle of truffle oil. Served with fries.
3. Hot chocolate x2 (£5.70)
Verdict: Good food is at the heart of this cosy cafe, with an emphasis on creativity and flair, as well as a core focus on seasonal, locally sourced produce to deliver a personalised dining experience. Lovely spot for brunch due to its strategic location with a picturesque view and posh ambience. The eggs Benedict are genuinely worth a try as their Hollandaise sauce will send you to seventh heaven at first bite. An original Parisian bistro in the heart of Birmingham 🤤❤️

Nice place, popped in for dessert and had a coffee and a tea. Both were nice. Also ordered a creme brulee and a chocolate fondant which were both lovely.
Update--------
I went back to Cafe Rouge just yesterday and ordered the creme brulee and chocolate fondant again and they were just as lovely.
Also ordered a pot of tea to wash things down. Very nice place with a quaint atmosphere and accommodating staff.
Stayed in Birmingham for 4 days and had breakfast here twice and a cocktail. It was amazing and the outdoor area is so nice
French Cuisine at the best. Had a quick lunch at Rouge Bullring Birmingham.. Was in a rush, so went for Beef Bourguignon and herb infused mash on the side along with a glass of Lillet Rose Spritz. The food was delicious and will go again to explore more..
Popped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, we hadn't booked a table and one was found within 5 mins. Food was fab, staff attentive. The only slight downside for me was how close the tables were, I felt like I was sat with the family next to me.
Just happened to pop in for breakfast and everything was lovely, good atmosphere all the food was cooked perfectly with good portions and well priced.
The highlight of the experience was our waitress Irina , she was funny and attentive and really made both mine and my friends day. ❤️
