Honestly , I am a big fan of this restraunt from so long.
Loved the food . Every dish ordered was fresh . Yumm. Spices were not too much. Pricing was good. Looking forward to visit again.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Birmingham. Brilliant food, very helpful and patient staff. Service is excellent, the decor is great and functional but beyond everything else the stand out thing here is the food. You should definitely try out their Executive Lunch Menu. Bit expensive but worth it!
Asha’s is one of the best restaurants if you are looking for authentic Indian food. I’ve been here now a couple of times during the last one year.
Out of many things tried, My favourite dishes from their menu include calamari fish, dal makhani, non veg kebab platter and dhaba chicken. There tandoor items are highly recommended.
I really like the ambience of the place. The service is also superb. I would definitely go back to top this restaurant and ever I am in Birmingham.
Probably the best indian food in Birmingham. Nice ambience, located in city centre. Only thing you won't find a place easy on walk ins..so would always recommend a reservation
A very good place giving the much needed indian feeling. The food is good with a lot of varieties to switch upon. A little expensive but defiently a must try place. Excellent service.

One of the few places in Birmingham where food gets as much importance as the ambiance and the service. Their afternoon weekday buffets are a steal but for the real deal you need to go a la carte. The evenings are always vibrant and a place to be seen.
A very professional restaurant that takes you on a culinary journey from the moment to enter till the time you leave. Done up beautifully with a separate waiting, bar, and restaurant area, Asha's, as you might have guessed by now, is named after the famous Indian singer Asha Bhosle (I believe she has a stake in the chain).
Keeping in tune with the regions reputation of providing exceptional sub-continental food, Asha's has a variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. In the start one can choose from the classic Samosa or various Kababs with a few options you'd normally not see elsewhere, like the Chingri Chaap.
The main course continues with excellent curry options and the food is as good, with similar tastes, as you'd find it to be in the sub-continent. I love how it isn't westernised too much giving it an authentic taste and feel.
Asha's is a great place to visit with friends or work colleagues or with the family. It's buzzing on weekends in the evenings and the weekday lunch buffet (do check if they still have it) is quite a hit with the surrounding office crowds.
Good food, great ambiance, and moderately expensive, professionalism runs through the veins of Asha's and it shows in the service and the food.

Very good food. Must go in Birmingham. They have managed to get each dish hit just the right spot. Juicy chicken tikka, fragrant rice, out of the world tandoori prawns. Worth every cent.
One of the Best Places in Birmingham to have authentic Indian food, I had butter Naan and paneer mutter, I must say it was sumptuous and mouth watering!
Oh well, I have dined at Ashas more times than I can count.
It falls to your right as you walk up Newhall Street towards Newstreet Rail Station.
The locality is perhaps the second best after Brindley Place which is adjoining the beautiful Birmingham canals. Nevertheless, the restaurant is very centrally located.
I used to visit here mostly with my dad. The interiors are lavishly furnished but give off a somewhat nouveau riche vibe. The bar is large but so is the crowd. Most of the cliental seem to be professionals. Mostly, upper and technical middle class.
For an Indian restaurant, you do see a lot of white faces. I know this may sound a bit strange but I mean it as a neutral statement. The 'Cobra Beer' seems to be a bit of an attraction amongst the cliental with non-indian background.
Restaurant is pricey, especially in that I think there is an imbalance between the price tag and the food quality. The food is good, well you would not expect bad food from places like these.... But in an attempt to cater for a more subtle British palate, I think, their dishes lack that traditional Indian flavour.
This was not the case is one dish, which I particularly liked, 'Murg Makhanwala'.I think they try really hard to make the sort of Naan that melts away in your mouth but the poor guys end up making it 'chewy'. A perfect soft, mildly crumbly Naan is hard to make, so they are not alone on this ...
They also have a convenient conference/dining room for corporate and other needs. I know this because the Indian Consulate arranged a dinner there. Surprisingly, the food tasted remarkably good when I was there with my father. Perhaps they changed it a bit to suit the Indian palate? haa?
I think its certainly worth a visit but for a pernickety connoisseur of Indian food it may not live up to expectation ...
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Went there for special occasion and were treated very well. Recomment without hesitation.
Attended a meal with some colleagues. The service was prompt, and the portions were plentiful. I had already been told by other previous diners that the food was wonderful. Well, it was good, but nothing I hadn't experienced before.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asha Food Restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely fantastic.
I had the Malai Soya Chaap and the Cheese Mushroom, and both dishes were absolutely divine. The Malai Soya Chaap was incredibly flavorful and had a perfect balance of spices. The texture of the soya chaap was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth.
Highly recommended!
I had one of the best Indian experience in Birmingham. Even though there was minor “bone” incident, everything was handled most gracefully. Can full heartedly recommend.
Food was equisite. So was the price. Put simply, the most wonderful Indian food I've ever tasted and it was all over quickly and at a cost. That's what you pay for quality. The restaurant was beautiful and very busy with a lovely atmosphere.
The food and the service were great. The prices were a bit high but reasonable based on the quality and portion size.
Went for my birthday, food was great and service good. Surprised by a birthday cake slice afterwards. It was a very good experience.
Nice ambience, nice food. Lot of variety. Can be quite pricey. Service could have been better.
Good food and cocktails, went there for a lunch and it was pretty quiet. The prices for the spread were very reasonable as well. The chairs very quite bulky and the decor felt a little outdated, also the first impression as you’re walking through the door is not the best and it feels like the place needs a little bit of love.
It's a wonderful place to have curry. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is excellent. I can't wait to have another curry sometime when I come back to Birmingham.
Nice experience, great service, good food. Enjoyed the veg platter, kadhai paneer, dips, rasmalai, and premium ice creams... somehow did not like the Hare baingan the Bharta, it was missing either the smoky effect or some ingredient...otherwise the overall experience was wondrous..
