Just stopped by for Sunday roast lunch. Impressed with the quality of the food. Beef cooked beautifully, veggies on point. Quite reasonable pricing for the area. Starters £6-15, Roast dinner £16-18, we didn’t even have room to try a dessert so the lunch portion was a foot size. Service was attentive but the ale selection wasn’t amazing. 2x purity and doom bar. There was parking available but paid for separately.
Will definitely visit again tho for food.

Amazing stay for four nights stay at The Highfield. Staff were amazing - Special shout-out to Rachel as well as the the very friendly Housekeeping team. Bedroom was nice and spacious, bathroom had great water pressure and the provided body wash etc were lovely.
Main bit to mention - Breakfast was out of this world! Even packed me up a breakfast sandwich on our last morning when I wasn't quite up to it at that time in the morning!
Will definitely be staying here on our next visit down! Thank you!

I like the Highfield having been for food loads of times, and the food was really nice again this Sunday. The only issue was having to wait about 90 mins for our order, with other tables which came in after us being served beforehand. Wouldn’t mind usually but with kids they get fed up! Otherwise, I’d recommend.

Can not thank The Highfield studio enough for the amazing service I received at my wedding reception. From making the booking with Ben who was always there to help. To the bar staff on the evening Jack was brilliant making sure drinks were flowing and everybody was happy. Huge thank you to Paul who personally congratulated and thanked us the next day. Nothing was to much for the team to sort reasonably priced, brilliant location and the most tasty food and cocktails, thank you for making my evening special.

We had a great family get together, with people coming across the globe for a reunion, in one of their private dining rooms. Food was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Not our first trip to the High Field and won’t be our last. Highly recommended.

Recently renovated gastropub with lots of indoor and outdoor seating including a bar area and more formal restaurant. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, interesting menu with daily specials and loads of gluten-free options. Large drinks menu including good alcohol-free options. Not cheap but excellent value for money. I will definitely eat here again.

We had a great day celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday. The staff were really helpful when we were planning the gathering and Angie looked after us brilliantly on the day. Couldn’t have asked for more … and the food was great too. Thankyou!

We often book a breakfast here when in Birmingham. Airy, sun soaked interior with extensive outside area (when it is warm enough). The breakfast menu is fantastic with the croque madame a personal favourite and my partner loves the luxury hot chocolate.

Beautiful restaurant, very nice design, large garden and terraces on two sides. They are very limited on free parking ,but you can park on the street or on the back parking and pay by hour.
Foodwise, they have a limited menu, and the portions are a bit small for the price that they charge, so I would clasify them as expensive for what they offer, but a beautiful place to go once in a while.
The staff is friendly, a bit too busy, running all over and peobable understaffed, but in general they are there when you need them.
I recommend them especially for the garden and the clean restaurant design.

An amazing place and full of atmosphere . We arrived early but were immediately shown to our table. Our waiter was amazing and patiently took all 9 drinks order and then came back for the food order. He was friendly, knowledgeable and exceptionally attentive. During our Sunday lunch , he even came around with extra roast potatoes and huge Yorkshire puddings. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all. As we were celebrating a birthday, plates and cutlery were provided as he bought in the lit birthday cake. Excellent service and always happy to help. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have not eaten here for a while but will definitely be back. Good food with friendly, efficient service. Lovely surroundings, too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely food served a little slow though.
Two hours for 3 courses?
Really nice when it came though and didn't spoil the daughters graduation day.

I happened to visit on my birthday. I ordered the Free-range Flat Iron Chicken & cider. The waiters were quite friendly & the food fresh & tasty. Loved the ambience. Highly recommended if you are around campus.

Lovely place, great location, perfect for summer! The food isn't amazing but the staff are nice and the place has a fairly relaxed atmosphere.<br/>It's located conveniently opposite to the Edgbaston which has really interesting drinks served until late in a sort of gentleman's club themed bar.
