Food: great vegetarian/vegan options. We went for the tama thali, paneer makhni, daal makhni, chilli cheese naans. Garlic naans and both sets of fries. The naand comes as 2 per portion which is fantastic. Service: ALL staff were really kind and welcoming. Atmosphere: we went around 8pm, very busy bu
A wonderful food experience. We didn't have reservation, we waited 20 min at the bar with amazing mango juice. We take butter chichen with rice (big portion). But I recommend the nan with👍 the vegetarian version of the butter chicken was very nice. Excellent service. I strongly recommend🙂
Overall really good place to have Indian food! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and food is delicious. Love their chaat so flavourful and salmon was yum. Some of Indian curries could’ve more flavour but no complaint. We ordered too much and had to ask for doggy bag ;)
Marvelous restaurant. Taste of India. The service was amazing. All the hostesses were friendly and they care about the customers a lot. The food was delicious and worth the penny. It was busy at the weekend. I lost my glasses there. I called them in the morning, surprisingly they saved that for me.
Visited this diner on Saturday evening for date night Lady at the cocktail bar really made the drinks with care and attention and that was reflective in the presentation and the taste, would recommend the peachy blinder! Was seated within 20 minutes despite being told it would possibly be 40 minut
Gorgeous Indian food and a great atmosphere. Very popular place and you can see why, great cocktails and even though it was busy, we still got fantastic and quick service! Some Indian dishes we've never tried before and are literally to die for...and those were just some of the many vegan dishes! H
Oh my days, ordered the first class lamb chops and it didn’t disappoint. 5 ginormous chops, with a curry sauce a whole heap of rice and some salad, oh and my foodie partner gave me some of their chips. Let’s just say my belly was full when I left. The service and staff were absolutely excellent a
Whet here for two celebrations in the last month and the food is devine! The service was a bit slow but on one occasion they were a bit busy. Their mocktails were nice too (a tad bit too sweet for me but they were happy to top it up with soda water). I would definitely visit again though to try thei
Delicious! And packed at lunchtime on a Wednesday. They do a daily special for 12.95 but we decided to go for the thali with an extra curry. The keralan lamb curry was to die for, so tasty and creamy, the butter chicken too. We all ate far too much because it was so tasty!
The decoration is really modern and vibrant, and the same goes for the food. I recommend the Tamatanga chips - the flavour is divine! However, portion sizes are big, so go with an empty belly :).
Went To See What Was The Hype About. We bought Lamb Chops, Wrap With Smoked Lamb Meat,Tali. It Was A Nice Meal Out However It Is On The Pricey Side,It Costed Around ÂŁ15+ Per Person
The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I would recommend the chicken Khurana. Would definitely come here again if I come back to Birmingham.

Saw this place was well reviewed and I wanted to try. I was not disappointed! Staff were incredible. I got the garlic chilli chicken and railway lamb. Both stunning curries. Tamatanga is such a good place to eat, the prices are good compared to other places nearby. Food taste's great, menu has plenty of options for vegetarians and none vegetarians. This place can get very busy especially friday and saturday nights which tells you how good it is. Give it palce a try y
Very good food, really enjoyed the daal and I’m not much of a lentils fan 👌🏽 atmosphere was nice and staff were good. Update: food still as good. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Delicious food! Perfect for Indian cuisine. I'd definitely recommend bang bang chicken and Chaat bombs. We ordered tamatanga Thali in which we can choose 2 different curries and the chef will choose the rest. Been there twice within 2 days and got a nice variety of dishes to try. We also tried Dal
