A full midweek dining room is a sight that makes me happy. Those who eat on school nights are committed gluttons, a different breed entirely to those that only go out on Friday and Saturday evenings. They know where the good stuff is at and they don’t want the hassle of waiting six weeks for it. They are the beating heart of the trade, the key to a sustainable business. If you can put bums on seats on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, you’ve succeeded. I doff my cap to you.
Visited as a large group which meant we were sat on a large table in the middle of the restaurant. Unfortunately the staff had to squeeze past us and the door opening/closing was annoying.
The food was excellent, all steaks were cooked perfectly and can definitely be recommended. I think returning as a couple will be a good option.
Classic restaurant with dishes that make you feel like each dish was made especially for you. They create food that looks like art work, and taste amazing! The place is extremely expensive. If the prices are too much is up to you but enjoy food that you probably never had before, this is the place for you.
We visited this as a family and everyone enjoyed their meals. The steaks, I am told, were excellent, unfortunately having a fish allergy, I was not able to try the steaks because they are cooked alongside shell fish. The 12 hour cooked brisket was an excellent alternative.
There is a lively atmosphere and the service is excellent. There is a particularly good Argentinian Malbec on the wine list, which goes well with the meat dishes, 'Porteno Malbec'. We all thoroughly enjoyed this wine, those who chose sea bass were also very pleased with this choice. Why only four stars? The limited choice for vegetarians, the contamination of the steak dishes with fish and it is bit pricey.
Came here on a weeknight with my friends celebrating my birthday, service was brilliant, were given a nice central table. The food is so so tasty, I have been here before and had recommended to my friends so thought I would let them experience it themselves and fiesta del asado did not disappoint! The steak is the best I've tasted in Birmingham, the creamed spinach side is so moreish, the portions are very generous - fantastic value for money and I will come back again and again!
The first time I ate at Fiesta del Asado I strolled over to the open kitchen after my meal and asked who had cooked my steak! The chefs looked around at each other, slightly nervous and concerned ... but when I told them it was the BEST steak I had ever eaten, the smiles quickly spread!!
Since that day I have lost count of how many times I have dined at this superb establishment but the food has been consistently great...

Fiesta del Asado is an absolute must for anyone who loves their steak - and actually for any other food lover!
Just experienced yet another taste of Argentina.
I would usually go for the fillet of beef, on the bone with Malbec sauce however, just for a change I went for the lamb.
A fantastic bottle of Malbec coupled with the rack of lamb, a match made in heaven.
Can't fault the service and romantic ambience of this restaurant.
Wonderful food. A menu filled with mouthwatering delights. Well prepared and customer service second to none.
The main course is generous and expertly prepared. I fully intend on returning. That is the best compliment offered. I highly recommend it to you.
The down side. It's very noisy, difficult to hear the good conversation and company that goes well with a good meal. The car park is too small, so take a taxi or park elsewhere. The main courses are mix and match; you chose a meat then add extras of vegetables and sauces but the meat dish is enormous. This means the average three course meal is in excess of £40 excluding drinks and tips.
But let me repeat myself- I couldn't recommend this Resturant enough and am looking forward to a swift return.
Great steaks. Very good food, service and atmosphere. Not cheap and a bit on the noisy side owing to the modern trend of the wooden floors and no tablecloths.
Will go again for special occasions.
Last week it was my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to a celebratory meal at Fiesta Del Asado with a few friends. Everyone I’d spoken to about this place waxed lyrical about how amazing their food was and what a wonderful atmosphere the place had, so we ventured up the Hagley Road for our first experience of Argentine cuisine. On arrival, it was quiet but had a homely and welcoming feel. The open kitchen filled the dining room with sounds and smells, and the staff were friendly and attentive to our every need. After perusing the wine list, we quickly decided on a bottle of Malbec to share. When in Rome! Now, I don’t profess to know anything about wine, and I’m not usually one for red, but this was really pleasant, with enough fruitiness for me to enjoy. Then it was onto the food menu. My family and I had an amazing dining experience at Fiesta del Asado! We went for my Dad’s birthday, and the food we ordered were fresh, delicious, and full of flavour! The range of options on the main menu were also great, and we wanted to try everything! My favourite item on the menu had to be the Manchego Cheesecake, which is the best dessert dish I have ordered from a restaurant.
Although the food was incredible, the highlight of our experience was the warmth, friendliness and kindness shown by their staff members, specifically by Leandra and Janice who went above and beyond. They even took the time to add a candle to my Dad’s dessert order and joined us in singing a ‘Happy Birthday’ to him!
Thank you again Fiesta del Asado - we will definitely visit again! :)

Myself and my husband booked for dinner to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary . . . it was the perfect choice! I have wanted to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. We had our drinks and starters within 20 minutes of being seated ordering, calamari was cooked perfect and the prawns were so fresh. My husband ordered the fillet steak, rare with mac n cheese, cut like butter and was melt in the mouth. Mac n cheese was creamy and pasta al dente! I had ribeye steak medium rare, delicious! Additional side of broccoli which was well cooked and tasty. Husbands chocolate pudding was amazing, my ice cream was very creamy and great way to end my meal. The two servers we had at our table were so lovely and not overly attentive, let us enjoy our meal and knew when we needed them. We had a complimentary glass of bubbly each for our anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. Thank you to everyone that made our meal so special ❤️ we booked the table for two hours, perfect amount of time for three courses.

I came here for my birthday because I wanted to try a nice steakhouse as a birthday treat. We ordered the calamari, the lamb, a sirloin steak and the Gaucho’s Feast. We even ordered some a few desserts. It was so delicious! My favourite was the lamb and the sirloin 🥰
We had a delightful meal at Fiesta Del Asado. The atmosphere was top-notch and we were quite pleased with the service. The dishes were tasty, especially the high-quality, well-cooked meat served in ample portions. Their cocktails impressed us too. However, the prices were a bit steep compared to other places offering similar prices. Though we enjoyed our visit, we might explore other venues next time that offer comparable food and ambience at a lesser cost. The parking situation could also be improved, especially given that our visit around 2pm wasn't during a peak time. All in all, a commendable dining experience.

The staff were fantastic and very obliging when we asked for a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu. The atmosphere was calm yet not too quiet.

Home style foods mainly from Argentinian roots, lots of choice for all and great vibe. We had the sharing platter of mixed meats which was amazing all cooked to our preference of medium rare and such a great idea to get so many choices of the menu on one plate. I consider the menu to be reasonable in price and definitely worth it, I've been a few times before and it won't be the last. Be sure to get there with plenty of time to spare before your table is booked as they only have around 10 parking spaces and they are not the biggest so allow time to find alternative parking as there isn't much about and it's double yellow line on the road side. This restaurant is busy for a reason! Enjoy your meal 😀
Beautifully cooked steak with tasty sides, washed down with a Beautiful malbec. Would definitely recommend if you're a meat lover. 😋👌

One of the best restaurants to have a 🥩 steak, if not the best. My second visit here. The service is excellent 👍🏽. It was a busy night, but the waiter was very attentive. It was my birthday, the waiter gave me a free class of prosecco. Thank you!

We went to the theatre and booked a table at Fiesta del Asado for Sunday dinner. They do a reduced menu on a Sunday. We shared a starter of Lamb, dates & potato empanada, beef, olive and egg and a cheese & potato empanada. 3 separate empanadas stuffed the above ingredients all freshly made. Gosh! They were delicious!
We both had sirloin steak, cooked how we wanted with guidance from Hoi who served us. Sunday dinner comes with potatoes, grilled onion, Yorkshire pudding, carrots and broccoli. It was all nice to eat, we both left the onion out of choice.
We had desserts, I had an apple empanada with ice cream and my partner had manchego cheescake. Both delicious! There's not many places I will go and have 3 courses, but I will here.
Hoi served us and he was pleasant and cheerful. He was very helpful helping me choose how to have my steak cooked.
I would definitely recommend eating at Fiesta del Asado to try the steaks.
I had the fillet steak and my partner had a sirloin steak. We were both blown away by the provoleta potatoes combined with our steaks [highly recommended]. I’ve had a fair share of Mechlin star restaurants and I can honestly say that Fiesta Del Asdo definitely match Mechlin foods or dare I say “even better”😝. I can’t remember the last time I went out for food and I was blown away. Excellent service, the waiter was able to describe the food and ingredients without hesitation. The starters were also fabulous especially the wild prawns with garlic on ciabatta bread [absolutely sublime😋]. I need to meet the chef here for some hints and tips. We’ll be back in around a week to rekindle these tickling taste buds 🤤. Highly recommend 5* all year round!!!!
