Great craft beer pub with so many awesome taps to choose from. Gets packed, so get there early or book ahead. Share plates and small bites are perfect for a session of beer tasting, and there are bigger plates for those that come hungry!
Couldn’t decide where to go to decompress after a long week and walked past this place so decided to give it a try. The beer selection was phenomenal and we were very happy with the choices we made. The staff were friendly and I love the atmosphere - not too rowdy and you are able to talk normally w
Really like it here. At 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon it was packed with a great atmosphere, although after about 15 mins we managed to get a table. Great beers. Slightly older crowd on a Saturday afternoon.
Very good beer centrally located near Victoria square. They have a fine selection of craft beer from Purity and a board with tasting notes etc. All reasonably priced as well. Nice premises with good range of small and large tables. Friendly staff. Certainly now on my regular list.
Many beer choices. Really good ones! It could be more beautifully firnished and decorated to create a cosy and warm environment.
Enjoyed my time there. Haven't tried the food yet but I will be going back to check it out. Overall, the beer was good. Didn't know what I wanted by the bar staff let me test a few to find the perfect pint. It was a little more expensive than other places but I enjoyed my stay...
A staple location for my friendship group from work. Good selection of liquids, great kitchen and cozy atmosphere. Always the backup for when I don't know if someone visiting likes a specific cuisine.
Many beers and alcohol beverages on the menu, the food tastes great and is well prepared, and the waiter is very friendly.
Great choice of beers and the food is perfect to accompany a couple of beers on an afternoon. Food is a little pricey, but not out of the range of local restaurants in this area. I am however, really hoping they bring back the normal scotch eggs they used to have on the menu, currently they only hav
This place should have a higher score but there is just something about the atmosphere. It's a bit austere and cold. The seating doesn't help. The beers themselves are fine. Price is ok for town as well. Sub £6 for most of the selection. Food, especially the bar snacks are delicious but on the expen
Always a great Sunday dinner. Purity gold was amazing. Nice and quiet for a Sunday chill. Food was spot on. Fish may have been a bit smaller than expected but still full of flavour. Really nice of the friendly team to let us take our bikes in whilst we dined.
Excellent beer and food! Full range of their own beers and a few guest beers. I enjoyed all four I tried (a half and three thirds): a perfect West Coast IPA called Longhorn, low-alcohol Bunny Hop cask pale ale, Mad Goose cask pale ale and for dessert, the Fixie Nitro stout. The crispy tofu burger is
Great bar with great food. Large selection of craft beers
Gets the combination of doing food and beer right. Make sure you get their pork scratchings, quality. Had just gone in for beers and scratchings but the food looked and smelled very good so shared a schnitzel and chips. It was top notch. Go in regularly for beers but will make sure I eat again. Serv
Great range of drinks, although it would be good to have more variety if soft drinks. Food was really nice to include gluten free options as my wife is a coeliac. Service was very good and prices were okay given it was in Birmingham. City centre. Overall a great experience, definitely would recommen
Excellent selection of a wide range of beers, each with labels as to which is vegan and/or gluten free. I was able to talk to the very knowledgeable staff and really pinpoint which drink was right for me. It's not the cheapest place to drink, but if you're into craft beer this is not new to you. The
Not a regular but have been coming here for years. Started before the trend of craft bar pop ups around Birmingham. Used to do interesting and rare talks downstairs but more importantly the craft beer is amazing and very hard to find. Definitely worth the time popping in as the environment is nice a
Friendly service, delicious local craft beer, imaginative tasty food served in relaxed and pleasant surroundings. Just a shame it wasn't busier, as everyone involved has obviously worked hard to make this a really good place to eat and drink.
