This is an outstanding pub, really enjoyed discovering the real ales around the world, its my must try each selection each time I pop in. Now the food, it's a real joy to be able to watch our meal being freshly prepared & cooked, then the joy of eating it.
Would so much recommend coming here, the deco is fab and don't forget the colourful garden.
You will be a fool not to come and relax over a few pints.

Love the Pig & Tail - I’m lucky enough to have this on the doorstep and I’m here for lunch as often as possible. The staff are really nice, the food excellent and the environment is fab.
I was lucky enough to see what was the old George & Dragon a derelict but Listed building be transformed into what is now a cool quircky, vibrant pub - it’s definitely worth a visit.
Today I’m having the crushed avocado, beef tomato & poached eggs on toasted bread:)
Lovely hidden gem. Helpful staff recommending best beers and ciders. Food is picking tapas style. Love it

Great small plate menu delicious food and lovely friendly staff. Can't fault, as it's just round the corner from my office I can see this being a regular spot.
Excellent food, atmosphere and character on the Pig & Tail. Will most certainly be heading back at some point soon without a shadow of doubt.
Stopped for lunch here yesterday. My husband and son had the Tapas which was lovely and I had the smoked salmon on a muffin. Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend.

As Always the food and staff were great. The Sunday roasts were awesome, and desserts out of this world. None of this is anything without great customer service, and they have it here in abundance. Thanks to Lynn and Charlie for another great gastro experience.
I love this place. The food, the cocktails, the location! The only downside is they need some soft furnishings to dampen the noise - it's very shouty.

This place is out in a limb on its own, warm friendly service and the best Sunday roast I've had in years, the pork was £10 great value 👍🏼
Last drank here 45yrs ago when it was called the "George" by regulars, it's now the Pig and Tail and wow what a change , used to be a dark damp sawdust floored over partitioned boozer, now it's lovely and bright but retains lots of period features , never appreciated how nice the stained glass windows were. Lots of different beers , cocktails, teas and coffees, had a burger and fries and it was so good, very friendly staff and just a really cool place to be...not waiting another 45yrs, will be back very soon
Nice small friendly pub. Food are nice as well, reasonable price with reasonable portion. We ordered a curry chips, wings and burger. All taste good! Obviously, you won't expect the food to be exceptional as you are in a pub anyway, But I would say the quality is definitely above average. Cocktail is good too. I live nearby so I will definitely visit again.
We were very happy with the quality of the food and the service. Unique combination of brilliant IPA ALE and south asain food. We will come back again, highly recommended, no issue with parking as well.
Interior of the pub is very nice and welcoming and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful to me. I always come here when I come down to Birmingham for my tattoo and I’ve never been disappointed with any of the small plates I order. This place is perfect for those who are looking for a light meal during the day.
Pubs of the Victorian era, I love ‘em. What I love most of all is a Victorian pub with a modern, artistically licensed interior servicing exciting food with down to earth service. This is crux of what The Pig & Tail is.
It has a relaxed service, which may not be as attentive as other restaurants. There is undeniable feeling of calmness and warmth within its many walls. The comfy seating, bright and interesting artistic accoutrements will capture you and your friends interest even if the conversation doesn’t.
I hired the Pig & Tail out for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, and it was genuinely the best decision ever. Everything from the food, the service, the venue, to the help in organising from the owner Mark was absolutely incredible. The venue is such a beautiful space, and the staff so friendly and helpful. The food was 1000/10 and exceeded my expectations in every single way. No task was too big for the staff, they really were amazing. I strongly recommend the Pig & Tail whether just popping in for a drink or hiring for events, you will not be disappointed.

Great gem in the JQ. I've been coming here since it opened back in 2015. Good quality food, friendly atmosphere. One of my favourite bars in town... its certainly worth a visit ☺️
We choose The Pig & Tail for a light brunch and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and tasty the the place was both metaphorically and physically.
Becky was our host and the she was so warm and welcoming she made us some gorgeous Baileys hot chocolate and coffee which went down a treat to brush off the cold chill from the outside .
We order from a simple but varied menu which had plenty for the picky for the hungry and for the peckish and the chef done a delightful job cooking the eggs to perfect and the ready of the dishes where a delight to devour.
The ambiance in the place was amazing with soft music in the back ground and a warm cosy feeling to accompany it, this is a great place for social gathering or a quite meal I would definitely recommend this place to for a visit so you can see for yourself what a great place The Pig & Tail is.

Absolutely lovely place. Ideal for small groups or a couples night out. Reminds me very much of the Architect in Cambridge. Prices in keeping with the area. Friendly environment. Pretty internal setting with vaulted decorative windows. It also had Stella unfiltered on tap which was a nice change. Honestly give it a go.
