Chung Ying Cantonese Restaurant - Birmingham - Photo album

I had a lovely time with my boyfriend at the restaurant. It was my birthday and I really enjoyed the meals. I had dumplings for the first time and loved it. The noodles, ducks, rice, and spring rolls were delicious. The portions were also large enough. I took leftovers home and froze them, then ate
I ate here before going to see Pretty Woman. It was busy,so I sat on patio. The food was tasty and loved the sizzling skillets. I missed the pretty garnish on starters that were served previously. Great wine choices too.
I just adore this place. We came for dim sum this evening and left bursting at the seams. I have never tried dim sum anywhere else but I know it would never meet my expectations the way Chung Ying does. I’m veggie and adore the tofu wrap ones so much. Server was so friendly and we’ve never been disa
Excellent Chinese food. It's not the cheapest place around but the quality of the food is superb, the menu is huge too. We had a selection of Dim Sum dishes and mains. Excellent Siu Mai, Prawn spring rolls, steamed buns and Duck with lettuce wraps. Excellent drink selection, we had a lovely bottle o
The food was okay. The har gow was very very fresh but the ho fun was horrid. The meat has clearly been chemically treated for it to be tender and the ho fun was all stuck together. The scallops Cheung fun was very very fishy. Not fresh. Almost no servers spoke to us and the surrounding staff seeme
Went in the afternoon so not much atmosphere but top class service and food. Take a look at the lemon chicken and sizzling fillet steak photos. Delicious!
Cracking food at a price. We got a range of dishes and 3 beers and each paid £50. You’ll enjoy every dish but with so much choice it’s always hard to know what to get at these places for an Asian food novice!
Came for a pre-birthday dinner with couple of friends. Had a very enjoyable evening! The food was authentic and delicious and so was the ambience. Word of advice- book your table in advance. Even on a week day we had to wait to get a seating!
some of the best cantonese food i’ve had, especially in the UK. had the roast duck and pork belly with rice - the duck tasted great! highly recommend!
Food is a bit pricey, but it is so good. I guarantee it's worth it. No regrets.
We visited by chance and had a really good meal. The resteraunt serves authentic Chinese food in a relaxed and informal environment. We started with Yuk Shung, spicey minced pork and prawns that are served with letuce leaves to wrap the meat in. One portion was enough for two as a starter. I had por
Vegan options available for dim sum and dishes. Be careful as there are some vegetarian dishes listed with the vegan options so it's worth double checking when ordering. We got some steamed buns with egg yolks inside that we weren't warned about. There's often offers on dim sum between set hours of
Had dim sum Highly recommended. Would recommend Har Gow and Siu Mai as starters.
A 5star quality restaurant in the heart of Birmingham City china town.very good quality fresh food as you would like.10/10. Friendly service with a smile.pecking duck was excellent and the Frogs legs are one of the best we’ve ever had in this UK.If I’m in Birmingham I always go there for
They catered to a large party, at least 60 people in a good sized room upstairs. The food was perfect, so many different dishes, for so many people it was fabulous. Nothing was cold, or below standard, I'd highly recommend this establishment.
Nice restaurant to enjoy some delicious traditional Chinese Dim Sum and other main dishes. We came on a Saturday for a quick lunch, service was very prompt, food arrived hot, staff was very friendly. Only disappointment this visit, was some of the food wasn't as good as before. But we still enjoy co
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great company - highly recommended 👌
It was ok. The food was average to good. Service was actually slightly better than I've come to expect from Chinese restaurants (especially when ordering dim sum), and most of the food arrived at a similar time. The tea was actually really good. The rice dishes we ordered were a little suspect, and
