Fantastic quality Pizza 🍕 (Yum Yum) the base is thin and crunchy and as good as a stone oven.
Wonderful sides and you do not have to spend 1/2 an hour going through choices on the menu.

Managed to get a table at the last minute and very pleased we did.
Really good atmosphere, full with people drinking and eating.
We ordered a salad, garlic bread, fancy potatoes and a salad to share and little cider tasting board.
Everything was utterly delicious, pizza was maybe a little small for sharing, but would be great for one (greedy) person ☺️

What a great venue to sample some delicious ciders. We started with the sample paddle, then ordered a pint of Lilley's Bee Sting and a Cockeyed Cider Co Monkey Mango. We shared a Hawaiian Five-Oh pizza, Aioli Want To Be With You tatter tots and a house salad - all very tasty choices. This place has a great vibe, great for small or large groups. Well located, close to the train station.
Nice spacious restaurant where we enjoyed our pizza and side dishes. All the food we had was cooked nicely with good service from pleasant staff. Good selection of beers and ciders.
Great selection of draught ciders, the pizza bases are SO good. Not my first visit and it won't be my last.

I must say, our outing at the stable was an absolute delight! From start to finish, everything was simply perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for what would be an incredible evening.
Let's start with the pizza - oh my goodness, it was heavenly! The flavors were rich and authentic, and each bite was a burst of pure deliciousness. Every slice was made to perfection. I could tell that the ingredients were fresh, and the crust was just the right amount of crispy and chewy. It's no exaggeration to say that this was some of the best pizza I've ever had!
And the dessert! I'm still dreaming about it. The sweet treats were a delightful indulgence that rounded off the meal perfectly. The rich and gooey chocolate brownie with the smooth ice cream and delicious caramel sauce was pure decadence.
I must commend the staff for their excellent service throughout the entire evening. They were attentive, friendly, and always had a smile on their faces. Our glasses were never empty with those bottomless drinks, and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our time there enjoyable. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in their work, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I can't thank the stable enough for providing us with such a fantastic outing. The combination of mouthwatering pizza, delectable desserts, and top-notch service made for an unforgettable evening. Great place to go out to eat either with a few friends or a large group. I would recommend making a reservation for the evenings as the place is popular. There are a combination of seating styles from tables with chairs, to ones with benches. They have a ready good range of specialist ciders and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful at the same time. You can try a cider tasting board if your not sure what to get. The pizzas are good and at a reasonable price also, but you might have to order something extra if you've got an appetite. I would definitely recommend this place if you like pizza and cider!
Myself and a bunch of friends visited ‘The Stable’ on Saturday 19th August for a celebratory meal. We were greeted upon arrival by a male who directed us to a table. The table was a bit sticky but our waitress Georgia had no problem sorting it out for us. She was attentive, quick and not afraid to crack a bit of friendly banter which was nice! The food was delicious with the Shreddy or Not and Hawaiian deserving a mention. Overall, we would all visit again. Thank you to all the staff, especially Georgina for making our meal that little bit more memorable!
Really nice pizzas, good gluten free and veggie options.
Very good meat pizza (although the crust is too thin for my taste) and delicious homeslaw. Also had an excellent pint of pale ale (Intuition). Nice ambiance and service, too.
