Food was absolutely amazing, and very well presented. You can tell the chefs Put all their heart into preparing it. I went there with my partner first time today for brunch and we fall in love with this place. Will be definitely coming back! Staff was very welcoming and friendly, especially our server Nelson who welcomed us to lewiss so nicely. Would reccommend it for everyone 100%

Having waited 20 mins for a table then another 45 mins for food, I was dead set on lodging a mammoth complaint..but then the food turned up and all that went out of the window. My husband and I have travelled many places across the world, we've eaten at almost any and every food place we've come across, but this place won our hearts and stomachs with their breakfast/brunch. Even though they provided sauces, the food was so delicious, it didn't need a sauce to enhance the taste and we didn't touch the bottles (bearing in mind that my husband is a ketchup addict). The staircase leading to the second floor needs some adjustment as it's very steep and I saw a guy almost trip, also the entrance/exit is a little cramped but I'm going to overlook all that just because the food won us over completely.

A great place to get breakfast and lunch in Moseley. Been here a few times now. Food, service and staff are consistent in there. Prices are good match to the quality of food you get and the ambiance is cosy.
My wife and I went again this morning to make most of the 50% government discount and we were very pleased with our breakfast. I got the croque monsieur with mushrooms, poached egg and French toast with berries. My wife got the vegetarian breakfast and a green smoothie. See photos.
Would recommend if you want vegetarian and vegan option with good, clean food and you're in Moseley.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food and drink, reasonably priced. Will be coming back to try other items on the menu.

Some really tasty healthy options such as the meal I had in the picture. Coffee was great also and the staff were really friendly. The polish lady working the bar and front of house was really attentive and polite, I wouldn't hesitate to return here when in the area. 👌🏻

When I look back on my life and reflect on those rose tinted moments, I will catch a glimpse of Lewis’s. It’s one of those food spots that brings together the masses to appreciate the finer things in life: food and the company of beautiful cosmopolitan Brummies.

Place was very busy when we got there and there was a 5 minute wait for a table but it was definitely worth it. We had the Lewis's breakfast, vegetarian breakfast and eggs royale and all were delicious. Cappuccino and hit chocolate were also very nice.
Really good food and lovely staff despite it being very busy.

The vegetarian brunch was really tasty along with fresh orange juice. Also tried the french toast was also amazing, great service, wonderful cosy atmosphere.
Tom Cowley
One of the best brunches we've had in Birmingham. In particular the French toast was easily the best I've ever had anywhere. We'll be going back soon to try more of the menu. Great friendly staff and location also.
Penny Lane
We chose here for breakfast fancying something a little different. Walking in there was a lot of space to sit and very very attentive staff .
To drink we chose a mango lassi, matcha latte, fresh orange juice and a flat white. Everything was well made although the matcha latte was the nicest I'd had.
For food my partner chose pesto baked eggs and myself paratha with paneer and chickpeas.
The spices and flavours in both dishes were amazing.
We both enjoyed our meals the only thing I would say again is the staff were very attentive we were probably asked how Everything was three times in a short space of time, I mean I rather that then not all :p

What a wonderful little find. We're staying locally for a weekend and wandered down to Moseley to find somewhere to eat. Saw this place and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did. Amazing dishes at a really reasonable price. Dishes were generous, a bit like tapas, all flavours were extraordinary, great depth of flavours. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Yes, absolutely recommend and only wish it was in a Manchester suburb and not Birmingham.

Easily my favourite place for breakfast in Moseley and quite possibly, Birmingham.
Any time I have visitors for the weekend I always take them them here for Sunday morning breakfast and it’s never disappointed.
The only downside is the waiting times can sometimes be on the long side and on several occasions it’s been impossible to get a table at peak times. But if you get here early enough you’ll be fine.
The coffee is good but I am a big fan of the ‘super duper smoothie’. It’s a safe bet to order anything off the menu and it will be worth it, my personal favourite is the French toast

Always head here for a coffee and cake when the market is on. Lucky enough to get one of the tables in the window today. Flat white always excellent, as was the Portuguese tart. Must get here earlier next time and try one of the amazing looking breakfasts.

Always fabulous service and a lovely feel to the venu. The coffee is always spot on and the menu has a great variety of quality food. It is the fine details such as cucumber or mint in the water that makes this gem extra special.
Fatu Tunkara
Such a good service and the food was really really tasty, really nice staff.

For a small tapas night out, the staff worked very hard and there was a good atmosphere. But we had a long weight for the extra portion we ordered, because basically they forgot it....
We had the house wine and regretted it.
The tables are too small to be comfortable, and although the food presented was tasty, it was nothing special.
Our clothes smelt of cooking when we left and frankly I won’t be returning.
However, It came highly recommend and I may have visited on an off or extra busy night, so I would not want to put people off from giving it a go.

I love Lewis's and visit often, but Saturday August 11th was not Lewis's finest hour. A 30 minute wait turned into 60, there is clearly no discernible table system for the waitresses to follow as in the space of 5 minutes all three came to take our order. The veggie breakfast when it arrived was as good as ever, toast not quite as done as I like but that's the least of our woes. Having waited an hour for steak and eggs, what eventually arrived was tasteless and swimming in grease. Saturdays are busy I know, but come on guys this just isn't good enough

Had breakfast in Lewis's this morning with a good friend. I had the full breakfast, my friend had avocado on sour dough toast with bacon. The food was lovely, really great quality produce and pleasingly presented. Service was very friendly, relaxed and discreet. Great overall experience, looking forward to visiting again.

Just had a very delicious, healthy breakfast here. Had the Veggie Breakfast, with a side order of Salmon. Poached eggs cooked to perfection, chai tea with almond milk, just right. Lovely friendly, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Bought a loaf of lovely sourdough to take home too. Went with a friend with our 2 newborn babies. We felt well looked after and would definitely go back again.

Smiling faces could bring customers back..no matter how good your cakes and food are..nobody would like to spend money sitting in a unhappy environment..unless you like swimming in a pool of misery..not me. .

Lewis’s is hardly a secret locally. Visit on a weekend morning and be prepared to wait for a table, for here is probably the best breakfast in the city. Homemade baked beans see pulses long simmered in a tomato sauce spiked with hot paprika and dotted with brindisa chorizo that laughs in the face of its cheaper versions. Underneath toasted sour dough soaks up the good bits, whilst a poached egg adds further luxury. I could eat this everyday and not get bored. I may actually try. By the way you can buy the chorizo whilst you wait. And so you should, its a cracker.
