What a great little find! Amazing food, lovely staff, fantastic atmosphere! Me and my partner are trying different places for Sunday lunch, and this deffo Is a 10/10 for us, the food portion was a right size, the taste incredible, and having live jazz music completely topped it off! It sits at the top of our list for us!! Well done guys!!! 🙌🏼

Had a truelly delightful experience on Friday night at 1000 Trades. Most delicious Christmas meal - every mouthful was a taste sensation especially the turkey main course with biodynamic white wine - so many flavours and textures. Mmm! Then there was the venue and atmosphere - I felt like I was at home with great friends in one of their stylish living rooms. And then the service - John Lucy and the Sax musician - didn't catch his name - were friendly, attentive - a joyful delight to start Christmas festivities - Thank you for organising Lara R..

We called in for a drink this week and enjoyed a couple of pints. Friendly service, nice inside and a kitchen with rotating chefs and menus. They do hold music nights judging by the posters. Seating outside as well as in. I've only docked a star because the website menu doesn't include enough detail on their Sunday lunch options (my OH doesn't eat red meat). I did email to ask but waiting on a response. Will return and recommend you visit.

Came here for their Sunday roast. The food was AMAZING. Just disappointed about their service. We didn't come at a busy time, but it was almost impossible to get a server's attention, and the food took more than a half hour to arrive. Can't fault them with their food however 👌 atmosphere was also very cosy.

Been here a number of times. Really good beer choices for the lads. The girls and I have enjoyed some really nice wines by the glass, carafe and bottle. We've yet to eat in but the menus from the various pop ups look great...

Went on the recommendation from a colleague and will go again. The fish and chips was excellent, accompanied by a nice cider and followed by a good coffee. Will be heading back to check out the jazz they host regularly, looking forward to hearing some good live music.

Lovely pub, great music, real ales, natural wines and knowledgeable, friendly staff. We went on a Tuesday night, still pleasantly busy. Canoodle cooking at the moment, excellent food and service. Particularly enjoyed the salt and pepper squid. A "small plate" but generous portions. Curry puffs, beef rendang and banh xeo also good. Will definitely return before this current guest chef finishes his stint in the kitchen.

Cosy little pub - very warm and welcoming. The food was delicious esp the starters. The menu changes every quarter i believe and this time it was pan-asia. Definitely recommend!

We've just moved in around the corner from this place and went here for Sunday roast between unpacking boxes. And wow - great selection of beers, friendly staff and absolutely amazing food. I have a feeling this will become our regular haunt!

Had a fabulous experience at 1000 trades, really nice venue with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Very popular with customers even on a Wednesday night. The staff were very relaxed yet attentive which is everything you need in hospitality. The food was delicious and different to anything I had experienced in Birmingham before. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is a true ale or natural wine drinker. Loved it!

1000 trades is a space that mixes traditional pub elements with artistic endeavours to create a unique environment. It feels somewhat bohemian, appreciating the craft beer, artisanal coffee and live lounge music scene. Above all it’s a relaxed environment serving beautifully crafted traditional Sunday lunches (on Sundays). Busy and social, remember to book in advance.
