Always my go to for early breakfast on the weekends. Opens from 8:00am which gives you the option to have breakfast and enjoy the rest of the day. Food is lovely and gets served quickly. Drinks are decent too.
Area for improvement - I would recommend more variety on the coffee beans and offering V60.

We went in for a breakfast and we absolutely loved it! The food is incredible. It's fresh and tasty. You can see that the cooks care about what are they doing. The hash browns were fantastic, deep fried potatoes with choice of dips.
The smoked salmon with avocado and scrambled eggs were amazing.

Good quality food for brunch. Average prices for the area. Really enjoyed the full English breakfast, when it eventually arrived. They were very busy though.

Coming from Canada, I was staying in Harbourne for a week and I wanted a traditional English breakfast. I found this place and was extremely happy with my meal. The food was made quickly and was delicious. My eggs were made to perfection. You would be surprised how many restaurants can’t make soft poached eggs! Now that I’ve found this gem, I’ll be back next year when I visit harborne again!

Came here to celebrate a birthday with the family for breakfast. Was told by the waitress I couldn’t pay with £50 note. They’ve been told by management not to accept it which I think is ridiculous. Why would you take payment on credit card and pay service fee over cash. Also don’t accept Amex that’s two forms of payment not accepted here. Which is why I’m giving a 4star review. Ultimately the waitress was very polite and professional about it.
Overall we had a lovely breakfast we had sweetcorn hash, vegan breakfast and the bacon topped pancakes. All the food was very delicious with super generous portions sizes. We had some cakes with our teas too.
The decor is lovely too, this place used to be a school and the restaurant has kept key feature of the old school and it really works.
Lovely and warm with ample seating. Highly recommended.

We came here for our friend's birthday and there were 15 of us. The staff were very lovely and attentive and made us feel welcome. We had the back garden all to ourselves!! We ordered so many dishes and they all came out quickly and they tasted delicious 😋 the coffee was also very yummy

Had a lovely experience visiting Boston Tea Party today. The location was beautifully lively and was such a lovely day to visit in the sun. We asked to relocate to a table where we was able to work and Junior was really helpful and friendly to assist us to give us a lovely experience.
For how busy the venue was at lunch our brunches came out within literally 15 minutes so that was amazing! I always love the hash browns!
fav spot in harborne - thank you again 💖

Tia was amazing and was very friendly. It’s not often that you meet people with a great vibe and energy on a Sunday morning when it’s busy in the restaurant. We were able to move from outside to inside and she was very accommodating about it. It’s my first time at this venue and will definitely come again due to the welcoming experience. Thank you Tia + team!

Amazing time at Boston tea party again. Always amazing food. Roxy & junior was as serve staff and was super friendly and had a good laugh with them. Had the carrot cake and a hot chocolate and it was perfectly baked with a generous topping and slice. Great spot to grab a coffee

Good service with nice atmosphere, definitely worth a second visit. Seems dog friendly which is nice, but can get a little loud!

Lovely atmosphere and aesthetics, with local art you can buy on the walls, which is lovely and thoughtful.
The food is very delish! They do please all diet requirements which is absolutely amazing! Several milk replacement options as well so you’d have a nice range of options!
Their hash browns are just absolutely adorable 🥰, you have to have an extra because two are not enough!
Staff are nice and wear masks which is nice as not many places in Birmingham do! I was pleased and will definitely come back something a little bit more complex than an English breakfast (which by the way is absolutely divine

Rated the UK's 'most ethical cafe', BTP is great for vegan options in both food and drink. I would have liked to see more selection from the bakery section though, as the only cake they had was sold out. They also keep sustainable by not using any disposable cups or straws, which is a nice touch. I had a lovely lunch with friends on a busy Friday, when the place was full, but it didn't take too long to find us a table. There is also a nice outdoor area with heaters, where we could wait whilst looking over the menu. You order online using QR codes, which has it's advantages, but also means that the food comes at different times. All the food was lovely, but my favourite was the smoothie- absolutely delicious! I like that they serve breakfast/brunch all day and also have some main meals or lighter options, depending on what you fancy. Overall, there is a good vibe inside and it's in an old reclaimed schoolhouse which is pretty cool.

Hi All
I visit my local BTP once or twice every week.
I have to say that it has a great atmosphere to help me chill out, and catch up with the latest info in my current music and computer mags.
The staff are all ace geezers and geezeresses. Without exception, they are all mega friendly and helpful. Service is nearly always prompt.
The food is great. I have been coming here for a few years now, which I wouldn’t be doing if it wasn’t.
One mini sad note. I wish you’d bring back the egg, bacon and avocado combo! It was my favourite!

Food was lovely, enjoyed my lunch with myself friends there. Would 100% come again!

Came here with my husband & daughter yesterday afternoon for a bite to eat after our swim. Ordered our food & took advantage of the outdoor seating beens as the sun was shining! Our hot drinks were brought out to us first then food followed about 20mins later. We ordered poached eggs on toast & added smoked salmon, child's burger & chips & chorizo hash OMG it was beautiful! All food was cooked perfectly! Couldn't believe the size of my daughters burger (patty) never seen a burger so thick she loved it. Would definitely return.

This place is defiantly worth checking out. It's now my go to place instead of the mainstream brands out there!
The coffee is amazing and the cakes even better!
Working in the food industry myself this is somewhere you can go knowing it's going to be consistent quality, service and cleanliness!
A big shout out to the young girl that served us, Shaney I think her name was, a breath of fresh air, really made the visit and you can tell she really cares about the customer experience!
Great atmosphere and will defo be my go to place for coffee and cakes from now on!

The kids loved the pancakes at lunch today. We ordered a side portion of chips to go with my flatbread and the kids were dipping the chips in the maple syrup (why not! ) Fab food and fab service. Doesn’t disappoint.

We love coming to the Boston tea party.... love that the space where I used to go to nursery is now being used. Only bad thing is the other day the previous customers plates were still on the table, when the waitress delivered our coffee and cakes they just slid the plates out the way leaving them on the table with us, not clearing the plates away. Poor service very disappointing ...staff should care a little more!
Wendy Zoe
Dreadful service. Almost all tables filthy. Waited half an hour for one cup of tea and a smoothie. Tea brought to table with no milk, sugar pot was dirty and no smoothie. Weak smoothie filled with raspberry seeds arrived. Tea sent back as was so weak it was coloured water. Replaced with more coloured water. Dreadful.
Becki Ann
Sadly not impressed. Long wait for food, ridiculously overpriced vegan breakfasts so small you are still hungry afterwards - not even any veggie sausages! Friendly staff are the only redeeming feature.
Lucy Clare-Banayos
Great food as always here. Service excellent - Khristine was very attentive and even gifted my hubby a brownie for his birthday! We will, as always, be back again as we love BTP!

As a new mum, it’s hard to find places to go with other mum friends that are accessible and baby friendly! Boston tea party in harborne are so accommodating and always welcome babies and prams! It’s helps that the almond milk lattes and brownies are amazing too! Keeping mummies going through the day with little sleep! Thank you

Such a cute place for brunch, come here for birthdays all the time

Sumptuous plates, great food and fast service! The place was bustling with customers on a Monday morning . The decor is quirky and casual , though the mushrooms and bacon could be slightly better cooked , we were very happy with the overall meal.
The American Pancakes were fluffy and the blueberry sauce was to die for !

Good place for brunch in Birmingham.

Coffee was delicious, I have also tried the vegetarian breakfast and the pain au chocolat. The pasty was lovely, the vegetarian breakfast was okay but a little dry. The atmosphere was wonderful as the cafe part of an old school building with many of the features still in tact. The prices were a little high, the sort you'd forgive London for but struggle to justify in Birmingham. Nonetheless, great place for a relaxed coffee.

No 1 son said he just had the best vegeburger of his life. The Mrs and I enjoyed our lamb kebabs and fussy daughter no 1 tolerated the cheese and ham toastie. They lost a point for just letting us sit there and not telling us we had to order at the counter like in Nandos and not clearing our plates when we went up and ordered dessert (nice cakes!) and drinks, despite there being very few customers. Tables were a bit sticky too, but not offensively so, however, had I not been wearing sleeves I might have been more bothered. Staff were polite and helpful when approached, but maybe we looked too scarily middle class with our lack of tattoos and piercings for them to approach us.
Bonus points for the free wifi and it being a Pokestop and just about in range of two more.

A really nice place to start your day for breakfast. So many varieties so you have a big selection to choose. Very fresh, and very recommended
