Absolutely amazing food. Came here with my daughter - her suggestion. Best mean ive had for some time. I'm new to this cuisine so was steered well by the staff as to what to try. Derek fries were a treat and the beer was excellent.

This is such a special place!! Food is delicious (with great veg options) and the service is amazing - Devora made me feel so welcome. The restaurant vibe is on point too, it was a great choice as a solo traveler but would also be great for groups! Thank you again!

Went here from a recommendation and it was amazing! Customer service was exceptional and personable, and the food was such high quality and absolutely delicious. Would absolutely go back again and again to try all the options on the menu.
As 2 vegans we had lots to choose from and can’t wait to visit again soon!

Had a brilliant experience at Savanna today. Food was excellent, which alongside the decor felt incredibly authentic. Service was great, restaurant provided dates for Ramadan which were lovely and sweet- perfect for breaking a fast with. Will definitely be back.

I love it here. We had the Mixed Platter! Great Food, Fantastic service, Devorah remembered us from last time and she makes the whole dinning experience a 10/10 for us. Will recommend to everyone.

Ethiopian restaurant in the Birmingham city centre. We had the injera platter and it was delicious, the food was so aromatic! The service was amazing as well, the waitress was very warm and gave us suggestions and helpful context as it was the first time we'd tried Ethiopian food. We will definitely be coming back for more!

Wanting to to try something different, me and my girlfriend visited savanna whilst in Birmingham, the very polite waitress suggested a sharing platter which I can only describe as fantastic, the injera was amazing , I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Service is an 11/10 as is the food. Want to thank the staff for the excellent service and bringing a cuisine which isn't readily available .

Amazing, authentic Ethiopian/ Eritrean restaurant with great vibes and food. The service was on point and very helpful with understanding the menu. The flavours were special. We will be returning if life spare.

We arrived late and not only did they accommodate us but they were really friendly. We had the Vegetarian Platter and it was excellent. Ironic that the best food in Birmingham may be from Africa!

I'm a huge fan of Ethiopian food and Savanna definitely doesn't disappoint. We shared the platter and the injera base was a great way of serving the various dishes. There's no cutlery but the delicate flavour combinations make it finger licking good
