We went along at short notice when they were fully booked and they squeezed us in! excellent service and the deep rum punch was to DIE for. Perfectly cooked akee and salt dish and goat curry... will definately go back thank you �

Just spent a couple of hours at this lovely restaurant with my partner the food is excellent we had curry goat, rice & peas, steamed veg, fried dumplings and saltfish fritters and it was delicious, the owner Derrick is a lovely man who made us feel very welcome and we had a lovely chat � and the music was wonderful 🖒 thank you Derrick for making our Anniversary special and compliments to your chef's on delightful food 🖒 we will definitely be returning very soon
I celebrated with my work collegues here as i will soon be moving jobs and this was definately the right place to celebrate ! From communication of the booking to the meal itself everything was 10/10 the service was top notch and i would highly recommend deep caribbean as an authentic caribbean experience ����

I would definetely rate this Caribbean as a 5 star, the staff are very polite and are at your beck and call at all times, there are limited food there, but I reckon that is a good thing that means they are cooking the food the way it's suppose to taste, I have been there 7 times now in the past 3 years of going there and not once have I complained, I always leave a small tip to show them that they will be seeing me again, that is why I have given it a 5 star rating as the meat falls off the bone and melts in your mouth, now that is quality + home made soup is always available, good price what else can I say but do try it out yourselves and you will say the same
2nd time here, food is amazing, staff are very friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend this place. Will be back there soon �

Celebrated my birthday here with my large family. Thoroughly enjoyed variety of caribbean dishes on offer for the Sunday Buffet. Particularly enjoyed the curried mutton and stewed chicken very tasty. Outstanding service from our waiter Tariq who is super friendly and a warm welcome from owners Derek and Pauline finished off nicely with a surprise rum cake and candles accompanied by a Happy Birthday Jamaican song. Looking forward to returning �
Food was amazing and considering it was a buffet it was fresh and always being changed over �� what made the visit was Tariq he was amazing!!!! A good asset to the restaurant, you can’t fault the man ��
My first visit to this establishment and what a pleasant evening it was. A very friendly and intimate resturant. Derick met us with a hand shake and we were made to feel very welcome. The chef then came to tell us what food had been prepared for the evenings buffet. Which by the way was delicious. I could have quite happily set there all evening just to listen to the fabulous tunes being played in the background. I would happily recommend this resturant and fully intend to return very soon.

What a find!. This isn't a luxury white tablecloth setting, but Pauline the Chef is a wizard. Absolutely everything was delicious. Best evening ever and tha k you for letting us come in early out fo the cold before you opened. We will be back. !!
It was our first time in Birmingham and we stumbled across this restaurant on google, reviews were all great so decided to get a takeaway order from there. Fantastic prices for the food you get! Staff were friendly and called when our food was ready. Delicious food and great size portions. One of our orders was for a coleslaw but instead came with steamed veg which was very tasty so didn’t really matter. We especially enjoyed the curry mutton and fried plantain! Would recommend.
What a lovely, clean and happy place to eat! Extremely friendly staff who helped and advised with the menu. Gave us different options with either a set menu or a Buffett. Johnathon was a down to earth fella who had a laugh with us! Great choice in booze! I was happy to be able to drink New Zealand white wine! Tasty food and generous portions! We shall certainly return here with family and friends…. Jerk chicken was lush! Also the Ox tail! Both fell off the bone. Yummy! See you again! Thank you again! 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
I arrived with a vegetarian appetite and was graciously accommodated with a deliciously seasoned ackee and calloloo meal with steamed veg. Pauline was very helpful and the flavours were authentic, with a touch of hot pepper sauce. Food nice eeeeeei!
Was able to book us a table on the day. Very polite staff who brought the buffet food to us to put in the middle of the table, we could order more as wanted. Slight confusion over seating and my daughter broke her glass, but they were very accomodating and well mannered. I'm definitely returning as the food was brilliant and it's £20 per head for the buffet. We had rice and peas, white rice, curry chicken, fish stew, mutton, coleslaw, steamed vegetables, dumplings, plantain, fish fritters. My friend who was with us said they rotate what you get because sometimes you don't have some of that and get macaroni or fried fish.

My husband was looking for a place that serves yard food and although the food was tasty and the buffet box was excellent value for money and highly recommended if sharing or hosting, our only constructive Criticism is the jerk chicken would have been nice barbecued and wait time for takeaway was slow. But overall fish and mutton was my fav and presentation and quantity was fantastic
Was a really nice experience!!! I just can recommend the place. We had a warm welcome from the host who made a really high level of service and a really professional attitude. Thank you for the night . The food was good and there was many authentic choice on the buffet so you can find something for yourself even if you prefer other nation's food etc .
Warm & welcoming staff….outstanding food….amazing cocktails…ONE of the best yard food joints in the U.K. Probably the best curry mutton I’ve ever had outside of my home.
Have not been to Deep for some years. Last time was for a 60th. When we visited this time family were visiting from abroad. The decor had been upgraded in the intervening years. The food then as well as now was excellent, delicious, flavoursome Jamaican food. It was buffet style and there was a wonderful array of food and it was good value. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be returning soon.
What an experience! First class food from a first class chef! We visited as a family of four from Derby and we were not disappointed at all. From the moment that we walked in, we were made to feel at home, there was a great atmosphere, a no hassle buffet with a great selection of tasty Caribbean dishes, nothing was too much for the hospitable, friendly staff. Paulette the chef was present in the restaurant to have a little chat and greet the guests. We will definitely be paying this little gem another visit in the not too distant future! Thanks to one and all for making our meal experience so lovely!😊
