Popped in for a beer after the cricket. Great selection of beers and friendly vibe from the bar staff and patrons. Didn't get to try the curry but sure I'll be back to give it a try.
Great pub with delicious food, fireplaces and friendly service. The chicken balti was very flavourful and tomatoey, with garlic and onion. Great food and drink. Very relaxed inside with friendly staff and customers. Hadn't been here in years so was great to go back. They have a wide range of beers and spirits and the food was fantastic (Indian menu). Look forward to going back soon.
Best pub in Brum, outstanding cask and food
Only my second experience of a desi pub in Brum, the other being Hen & Chickens (shared a mixed grill, it was fantastic). Great place and they have expanded their outdoor offering. Really covid safe and quick service, plus good curries and fabulous service. Tables well distanced. What's not to like?! Will be making this my new local in the absence of outdoor space in my current 'local'.
A nice friendly warm welcome at this real ale pub. Sample of a lovely pint of HPA. 4 of 5 rooms with 1 outside, not sure how many got a bit lost. Would recommend for Real Ale lovers and good food
Been using this place on and off for many years now since the 80s and it never fails to be enjoyable. Foods good and a good range of drinks.
