Great selection of beers and very well kept The seating area out the front is very comfortable and you can watch the world go by , beer garden is rubbish out the back. Pub is nice, bright and clean staff really friendly and info about the local area a must stop even if it means going of the planne
Brilliant proper pub, Lesley is the friendliest welcoming landlady. Decent beer, good chat what more do you want!
Visited this pub, which Handsworth Grammar School Old Boys use weekly after their club night. The water polo Team offer hospitality to the away Team. Leslie puts on a spread of sandwiches and chips - just what you need after a match. Lovely selection of ales and cider. Great staff, very accomodating
Very clean and tidy pub, it's a must for real ale drinkers, they have upto 15 different ales at a time, Well worth a visit šŸ‘Œ
Nice pub to have a drink, they have many kinds of drinks. It's cozy and beautiful inside
Proper pub. Great selection of beers, especially if you are an ale fan. We visited pre the Villa game and there was a friendly atmosphere all round. Will be back!
What a fantastic pub! Off the beaten track and has a very traditional feel to it. Great selection of ales, friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere. Iā€™d certainly recommend a visit.
Corner pub. Comfortable bar with coal fire. Upstairs room + setting out side. 12 real ales on + 2 ciders .atmosphere very good. Black Country plum pig beer excellent. Good service.
In a quiet location within the jewellery quarter, Black country ales pub, with their usual selection of beers available. A pleasing interior with different drinking areas either side of the bar.
Proper pub, dog friendly, great beer
Visited twice in a week at lunch time. Vast choice of draft ales food excellent The barman Solomon was very polite and friendly a credit to the jewellery makers The lady who did the food was very friendly What a great pub.
We recently had a reunion in the upstairs venue room, food limited but good, drinks like most pubs expensive food very well priced. The only thing l didn't like was a long staircase to the bar, even though they have a bar upstairs, and considering the avarage age of the 24 people presant were over
Great pub.... lesley and Steve go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! The pub is what it is, because of them!! It's cosy, clean, friendly šŸ˜ Amazing homemade food. Great ales and beers. And a lot more..... It's definitely worth a visit!! Deserves more stars, really āœØļø
Excellent choice of local cask ales. Highly recommend this pub in a interesting part of the city . On my visit , enjoyed Salopian and Black country ales .
A typical Black Country Ales' pub - and that's nearly always a good thing. A good choice of Ales at reasonable prices in an area that can suffer from inflated levels of pricing.
Goid slection of beers and sprits, friendly staff. No covid procedures or restrictions followed by all. You are paying city prices for beer and sprits, which is slightly more than other establishments with the area. A good selection of food served
Fantastic pub, Excellent beer & very friendly service. & very cosy in winter time.
Nice outdoor seating, small inside but cosy 5er a pint of Carling friendly service, would return
