A proper old-school boozer (rare these days), great selection of ales from Black Country Ales.
Corner pub. Comfortable bar with coal fire. Upstairs room + setting out side. 12 real ales on + 2 ciders .atmosphere very good. Black Country plum pig beer excellent. Good service.
Good range of ales, bar snacks and cobs Little gem in the jewellery quarter a must go to pub if you need a beer after shopping for jewellery, can't give stars for food but what I saw looked nice, Pitty I just had breakfast, maybe next time an excuse to go back.
Goid slection of beers and sprits, friendly staff. No covid procedures or restrictions followed by all. You are paying city prices for beer and sprits, which is slightly more than other establishments with the area. A good selection of food served
In a quiet location within the jewellery quarter, Black country ales pub, with their usual selection of beers available. A pleasing interior with different drinking areas either side of the bar.
Excellent choice of local cask ales. Highly recommend this pub in a interesting part of the city . On my visit , enjoyed Salopian and Black country ales .
We popped in last Sunday after a walking tour of lost pubs in the Jewellery Quarter. This is a meeting point for the tour and not a lost pub. If you want to experience a traditional pub with a great selection of ales as well as a couple of more commercial lagers then try it. On Sundays roadside park
Hadn't been for many years but it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff and good food. Really warm atmosphere, perfect to be able to sit and enjoy a catch up with a friend.
Friendly pub, good beer, great atmosphere, not at all pretentious.
