First time I have been to this place, firstly they handled Iftar time really well, everyone had fruit, their drinks and even some starters to break their fast with.
The food was lovely but what actually impressed me most was how on point the service was. All the staff were genuine, attentive, doing check backs, asking how the meal was etc.
I have literally never got this kind of service in a asian food place in Birmingham before and it was such a nice feeling. Having worked in massive restaurant chains for most my life I know food & service and most independent places fall short but this place didn't!

Fancied a burger so went to Tru burger ordered a tru tower burger for myself and chicken burger for wife n kids. I have to say it was fantastic, beef patty, chicken and layer of mince. Delicious. Service was spot on. I would recommend tru burger if you are fanatical about burgers like I am. Thank you very much. �
Great food, decent enough prices not cheap and definetly not the most expensive, wish there was more variety on the menu with a few more dishes. Burgers and fries taste great can't really go wrong with them.
Went on a busy Saturday night and we were pre-warnwd that the food would be a while, so can’t hold this against them... despite our large group we were still seated quickly.
The chicken and waffle with maple syrup is definitely the thing to order... oddly it tasted better than the burgers which were a bit hit and miss around the group. Starters decent but nothing to rave about. Solid food and good service.
Good friendly staff who are very helpful in explaining and choosing the burger if you haven't been here before. A cosy atmosphere for friends and families to sit and enjoy their food. A decent choice on the menu. My only criticism is that the music was too loud and I asked a member of staff to turn it down but she just seemed to touch the knob as it didn't seem lower than before.
A burger restaurant in the long restaurant stretch of Ladypool Road. While we only tried one burger we got the signature Tru Burger which had a beef and chicken pattie. For around £11 you get a massive burger with 2 onion rings on top asking with skin on fries. A tasty burger with a lot of meat taste. It was a target sloppy burger which had a lot of juices running of it. It definitely wasn't a classic burger so don't expect amazing flavours. It's hard to get any flavour except tasty charred meat. It was a full meal on its own. The fries were very good and came with 2 types of sauce both had chilli in them. The decor is excellent and we'll with bringing family to. Well be coming back next time in Birmingham for a full review.

It is one of the best burger joints I've been too!
The food had great flavours, great taste, big portions and good service. The place accommodated well for my big extended family.
We tried various beef/lamb burgers and I had a taste of everything. I would say any beef/lamb burger is a good choice, juicy patties and great flavours. I also tried the animal fries which taste a lot better than they sound!
Drinks were well made. Mojitos were nice and the Pina Colada was good although the glasses could have been bigger.
Service was great, nice friendly staff although I felt sorry for the poor girl who was running the whole busy shop floor alone. Maybe a few more waiters/waitresses would be good. Also received a complimentary chicken and waffles dish which was appreciated by my family.
Definitely a great burger place and in my opinion fantastic value. Would definitely come back if I'm around Birmingham again! Open a branch up in London I'll be a good customer haha.
Just went again yesterday, got the Peanut butter and chilli jam burger. It was gorgeous! The burger is big enough so you're not undoing your jeans button at the end of the meal and the sweet potstoes fries were nice. The strawberry mojito drink was sooooo good but there could have been a little kess ice and more drink. Would defo recommend coming here.
Generally very nice food with good service, can't really complain. At times the buns can be a little dry (happened more than once) so docking one star, however would recommend this place without hesitation.

Ate here late Sunday evening 15/01/17. Walked in and was promptly greeted to what looked a quite night for the place. Seating and tables were nice and clean. Rap music in background had offensive lyrics and was promptly changed to arabic songs after a member of staff notice. Female waitress was very polite and friendly. Starters weren't brilliant so save the space for mains. Ordered a platter for 4. BBQ wings had just been dipped in sauce and served, Chicken tenders were just deep fried strips and Chilli nachos were a bit stale. Burgers and house fries on the other hand were lovely and the main reason you go to this place. Had a Tru cheese burger with extra patty option to customise was offered by the kind waitress. Burger sat perfectly. Bun was nice and soft, meat was juicy and well seasoned and salad was colourful and fresh. House fries were fresh and tasted brilliant with a bit of seasoning. Numerous sauces in takeaway plastic pots were placed on our table but didn't know what they were as they weren't labeled.
Pricey but very very good burgers
If you like your burgers gourmet style then this is definitely the place to go.

Ordered the platter for 2 and the tower burger with cheesy fries. The tower burger was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The platter had a lovely array of light options that complemented the main perfectly. The staff here are very attentive and helpful.
