This place is just the best. Everytime anyone from my family is in Birmingham it is the no1 spot to visit for us. We have been coming here for over 30 years just for the infamous Katlaama!!!! Always on point with everything from the service to the food. The curries are nice aswell 100% recommend to
Have been coming here for over 30 years, whilst it does not look like much from the outside the food is the best. Sheek kebabs cooked on open charcoal, and katalama are my favourites.
Lovely crispy fresh Katlamas made on the weekend from 8am onwards . Plus they have some amazing mint and red chutney sauces . This place has been around for a very long time . My grandad has been going to this shop ever since it was formed in the 1980’s . I would most definitely recommend this place
I've been coming here for years. It got really bad before COVID, so I've been giving it a miss. Was in area so why not. Veg dhansak , channa chat, roti and a desi chai hit the spot . The place has had a minor makeover (don't worry it's still shabby ) newer chairs from Lahore Karahi and what looks li
Been going there Sundays mainly for over 26 yrs but due to various personal matters this is my 1st time back in 5 yes breakfast is still excellent 👌
One of the best Nihari in town. ! Its only available in morning on weekend. Its also famous for Katlama.
Their katlaama and gulab jamun are truly delicious. I would say best in Birmingham
I had nehari and it was awesome. Absolutely awesome.
Very delicious nashta. And behaviour of staff was best.
Such a great food, very enjoyable and lovely stuff.
If you're after a classy, 5 Star establishment, then this place isn't for you. But if you're after some of the best homey food in Brum then this place is a must. Used to get a family takeaway from here as a wee kid, many years ago. Only recently started coming back here after about 15/20 years, and
Best katlama in Birmingham. Decent chicken pakoreh. Samosa aren't great. Stick to what they do best. The katlama.
Food was rushed, undercooked, average. Any other day maybe a better experience.
We wanted an authentic taste, different to our normal take away / restaurant. Great food, all cooked fresh, will definatley order again. Thanks great food.
The food is good, but the place is dated (70's/80's vibe). Still, some nostalgia if you're born in that era!
Ordered halwa puri and Katlama raw malai and falooda. Halwa puri 10/10 the puri was lovely and it wasn’t greasy at all Katlama 10/10 Raw malai 5/10 average tasting Falooda was a 0/10 only because it tasted of old ice cream and was gloopy. Definitely would not order this gain
Chana puri perfection. Delicately crisp puri, the messier the better.
There siri paya, halwa puri, channay and aloo paratha we tried and all got 5 stars. Food is great no doubt the only problem is sitting capacity for families are not enough and restaurant need some upgrade to bring this tasteful restaurant a proper environment as well and hence 4 star.
