The pub fills up very quickly around lunchtime, no matter what day, and so it's best to get here earlier.
The food, however, is very good and a step above the regular pub fare. They use locally sourced sausages that change often and fresh food.
The service varies, I've had times I've been when I've ordered first and been the last to get my meal and I've also had incredibly quick service. It just depends, I suppose.
A regular stomping ground on a Friday lunchtime with work colleagues, the Queens Arms offers great and reasonably priced pub grub, beers (including local independent ales) and a place to unwind from a busy day/week. The Grade II listed 19th Century pub is part of the historic Jewellery Quarter and as such fits right in, however it's not the biggest of pubs so can get cramped at times and have no tables free to sit and eat for groups bigger than 3 or 4, so do bare that in mind if you're eating. Overall a top pub serving residents and office workers in the area.
Absolutely lovely traditional pub with a great atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. This is one of our locals, so we are always greeted by name which always cheers us up. Great place to watch sports matches, pool table and outdoor area and board games for those quiet evenings with friends. They now also have a refurbished upstairs area with additional seating and a dartboard. The food is also very delicious and reasonably priced and the whole menu is vegetarian. The 'honey' chilli chips and halloumi fries are an absolute favourite bar snack of ours to go with our pints. Definitely worth popping in to see if you're nearby!
We didn't eat, so we can't comment, but this is a traditional pub. With a pool table , a good selection of drinks and good customer service 👌
Absolutely loved it here. The bar staff are beyond belief lovely and the food is great. A traditional, friendly, salt of the earth bar that everyone needs
Our first meal after flying all day and discovering this spot was a real treat! The food was amazing and the team fantastic. Alex welcomed us well to England and made us feel right at home during our first ever trip to Birmingham!
An amazing pub! Excellent beer, brilliant service and a great ambience too!
It's been a while since I have been here. Its a traditional pub in the heart of town. Good selection of beer and the vibes are great. Nice and chill 😎
You'll be hard pressed to find a better pint of Guinness in Birmingham. Pictures speak for themselves
Thursday November 8pm. Nice rustic environment for Guinness, Bombay pizza and Bombay fries. Get to watch World Cup there too. Friendly staff.
