Maison Mayci - Birmingham - Photo album

Maison Mayci does sell very nice bread & gorgeous cakes. However it's main business is being a very reasonable Cafe. The toast eggs and salmon in the picture came to £5.40. the food is very nice and the staff are really polite and helpful.
Veggie options and yummy food. They aren't always flexible with the menu (had to buy an adult portion of soup for my 3 yr old) but its a nice local place.
Lovely cafe with very friendly staff. Great selection of savoury food and cakes, the tarts are delicious. Really good selection of drinks too.
A lovely café. I had a chicken mustard sandwich with a side salad. There were a good portion of chicken in there and the bread was lovely and fresh. I've not tried their cakes, but I'm looking forward to those on my return. Staff are friendly and service was quick. I would definitely recommend t
My go to café in Kings Heath and the original Maison Mayci to sister café in Moseley. Has the stripped down bare pine look with a French dresser kind of feel to the counter area. Same high quality food and drink as the Moseley cafe with a heavy accent on the French patisserie and some classics on th
Breakfast is two poached (or scrambled eggs, two rashers of bacon and three slices of divine toast .... all with a latte and a bottle of water. All very tasty - I eat here regularly because it's tasty. Good service and highly recommended. Buy your (excellent) bread and patisserie here too. Can't be
Best scrambled eggs in Birmingham. Home-made bread and pastries are just fantastic. One of the very best places to go for breakfast in the city - just don't feel guilty when you inevitably get some patisserie for later...
Had superb French fruit tart.. with perfect expresso. Plate is beautifully decorated with creme anglais and fruit compote, all served by lovely staff in this bakery and with rustic chic decor Cafe. Serve meals too. Do buy the real bread too.
Five stars, is that the maximum? Why can't I give them six. The staff are most excellent, the milkshakes are divine and the bread is super tasty. I've been coming here since I was born and I love it. Harry (aged 10) Marmite now available.
A piece of France in Kings Heath! The bread to buy is to die for but go early. I'm very partial to their black coffee in the morning, served in proper little cups and smelling great! No mega sized cardiac overloads, thank goodness. A gem of a place.
Cute little place with character. The food was satisfactory but I'd recommend the cakes and pastries which you can eat in or take out as they stole the show for me. Nice little outdoor courtyard for sunny days as well.
Really good bread and pastries, possibly best in Brum. I'd say Maison Mayci just beat Loaf in Stirchley for the best sourdough. Breakfast and lunch menu are great as well. Slightly limited selection of sweets/cakes, especially in the week, as they tend to just have a range of small tarts. Tend to do
The sourdough loaf is the best bread I've ever tasted (and I lived in France for two years). Staff are friendly and it has a nice atmosphere I only wish it were open on a Sunday!
Lovely place to eat. Friendly staff, great table service. Lovely food... Pop in regularly for something to eat. Thank you for a great all round experience.
I'm sure I've already left a review before. I've been to this branch many a times and have had really good coffee and cakes. Staff is polite and helpful.
Absolutely love it here, the food is so fresh and tasty. We’ve also had several birthday cakes made from here and they are absolutely gorgeous!
Always great service and most importantly delicious authentic french desserts. Especially like the fruit tarts and hazelnut pastry. Never disappointed
