Lovely traditional pub full of character. Food is amazing...I can particularly recommend the Sunday roasts. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Love the 'mini pud' option on the menu too. Definitely worth a visit! X
Sunday lunch was absolute delicious and arrived piping hot. Lovely service too. Given that the pub is very small, staff do a fantastic job of managing Sunday service in such a small space. My mom really enjoyed the salted caramel bar too. Will definately be returning.
A brilliant old time pub, great food, excellent service and no juke box bashing your ears just the gentle sound of people chit chatting away. The beer was really nice and went down very easily, please please do not try to modernise (to so called improve the place) keep it as it is a real pub
Had a lovely afternoon on sunday at the bell, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly, will definitely be going again soon, highly recommend x
Stunning pub, really friendly helpful staff and delicious food, definitely be going back to try more of the menu
Fabulous food and excellent service.
Happy bar staff = Happy customers.
Friendly local pub with fantastic reputation.
Great food, easy going service. Relaxed atmosphere. The range of drinks are fantastic. Hidden gem!
Me and my mum had afternoon tea there, and it was lovely..the member of staff we had was very friendly..thank you we will have another one sometime xx
Fab place.. fab service and love the beer garden in the summer where the dogs are welcomed. Really Nice food and wine. Fabulous!!
This was our first visit, we were greeted warmly and despite not having booked a table we were seated quickly in the cosy snug. We all opted for a Sunday roast and the food was outstanding. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout and we left planning our next visit. We can't wait to return.
This was our first visit on mother's day lovely warm friendly welcome in cosy surroundings food fantastic and wonderful service the chocolates and daffodils were a thoughtful touch thank you we will be back very soon
Lovely staff, great food....warm and friendly atmosphere.
Awesome place feels like your on holiday when u sit out in the back garden , the food is good to
We held the reception for my Gran's funeral today the staff were nothing but helpful and kind. Nothing was too much for them and the food was amazing thank you so much you made the day easier.
This is one of the best local pubs I've ever been to, especially the lamb tripe is quite delicious. The environment is pleasant, and the service is quite warm and welcoming.
Great local pub that has been around for generations and continues to be an awesome place. Food is great, Sunday roast is amazing, lots of options for sharing, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Lots of area at the back for big and small groups, definitely recommended for a few pints!
Great untouched pub. I had my first pint there (illegally) 50 years ago. It's just as I remembered it. Brew11, too. Magic. The food is excellent. Bar staff caring and efficient. What more do you need?
Lovely Sunday lunch, great choice of food.
Roast lunch enjoyed by all and excellent puddings.
Staff welcoming, friendly, and attentive.
Happy to recommend and visit again.
Bonus being dog friendly.
Visited this pub recently, and have done consistently every few months, as part of our Harborne Pubs Tour. Situated next to St.Peters Church in Harborne in a very scenic, quiet area with it's own bowling green and spacious outdoor seating area. Great beer, polite and friendly service and tasty food (served in very reasonable portions!). A great place to visit especially on a summer's day.
This pub is what you think of when traditional old English are your requirements. Atmosphere is great, cosy and warm. Super friendly helpful and sociable staff. beautiful decor and great atmosphere.
Shout out to Matt in particular. Looking forward to a Sunday roast in the near future
Can't believe my eyes when I walked into the beautiful 18th century lounge of the bell. Two TV like screens totally out of sink with this wonderful room. The atmosphere was five star now one. Please use common sense and take them down 🙏🙏🙏.
Great little pub hidden away in Harborne. I love the location of the Bell as the road it is nestled on feels like you're in a quaint English village rather than in the suburbs of the country's second city.
Good food at a reasonable price. Decent selection of beers. Great outdoor seating for warmer months, and cosy indoor space for the colder ones.
Quaint little pub, a nice country atmosphere in the suburbs of Birmingham. I don't think I would eat here again based on todays experience of greasy processed seafood and a terrible cheese on toast passed off as mushroom bruschetta, drinks were reasonably priced.
First time here, lovely roast dinner, plate was packed with deliciousness! Friendly staff, traditional cosy vibe inside and great beer-garden overlooking the church. We’ll be back!
A great mother's day visit! Food was delicious. A really friendly and cosy pub. Will definitely visit again.
Really characteristic lovely old pub tucked away near a church in Harborne. Sat outside having a girlie catch up as the weather was glorious. Plenty of outdoor seating arranged around what looked like a bowling green. Salads were amazing and the ice cold Peroni's too. Although the pub filled up (it was a Friday afternoon/early evening) we were able to keep our table for 4 hours, well we do like to chat haha. Cheerful, quick and excellent service, you carry your own drinks from the bar which I feel is much more efficient, well done 👏
Visited today whilst in the area visiting family (3 adults & 2 children). Easily reserved a table online in advance. Arrived and found space to park directly outside the pub. We were early but received a warm welcome & were shown to our table. Ordered food & drink at the bar and service was very quick & staff were friendly and helpful. 4 of us had the sunday roast dinners & one kids meal. Portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. Ordered desserts and again quick service & tasted amazing. We were really impressed and will definitely visit again when we're in Birmingham next.
Good beer well kept. An old pub but the toilets refreshingly modern. Worth having a look
Cute little pub in the lovely area of Harborne. Pretty discrete! It's not a pub you'd find unless you knew of it beforehand and for this reason it tends to only attract local people. Great as there aren't any of those loud folk you tend to find in your 'spoons'. Warm and welcoming, friendly staff. Smallish seating area inside and outdoors. Cannot fault this place.
A great little oasis nestled in the back streets of Harborne. Great atmosphere when all the crowd are cheering on the bowlers or just enjoying drinks and a bite to eat.
Just spent the afternoon celebrating my son's 21st birthday here. 30 of us! Excellent food. Staff were brilliant. The atmosphere was cosy and Christmassy. Perfect 👌. Thankyou everyone at The Bell ♥️
Roast was beautifully cooked though they were very stingy with the gravy and they had run completely out of stuffing so my roast lacked that. Absolutely lovely set up in the garden though. Hopefully they will sort the gravy/stuffing rationing out soon, since it was the first week back post lockdown! I'm sure I'll be back!
