Ordered an avocado and mixed grain salad half the ingredients were missing! No cranberries or butternut squash ...very little amount of grains. Poor waiter was rushed off his feet as short staffed. After coming to Red Lion for many years I was disappointed but will return as feel this was a one off.... hope so anyway.

Staff very friendly and quick to serve when possible. We came for the quiz night pre booked the table by app. Staff put us where we requested in our booking. Good choice of drinks

The staff were nice, and very friendly. The food was nice. My only gripe is if I wanted a starter main, and pudding. With a two hour time slot it would've been a bit rushed. I understand you have to turn tables to make money but 2 hours was a bit short. I will definitely use again but maybe just for drinks and mains.
But I can't fault the staff at all. Thank you.

I don’t live very local to the red lion, however I make the effort to eat and drink there whenever I go out. The atmosphere is chilled yet professional, the staff go above and beyond. Dawn leads a great team. April, Ash and the staff are just amazing. So amazing we have chosen this venue for our wedding. Week done Dawn and team.

Food and service was excellent. Beautifully decorated. Dawn is such a welcoming manager. The waiter Phil might have a shiny head but he's got character and service skills to boot. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

Went to red lion kings heath for valentine's day. Table was set with table cloth and love hearts sweets and candle too. Had 2 course meals of gammon and chips with eggs x 2 and tomato which was cooked perfectly and the desserts were amazing, caramel apple crumble with custard and cream and sticky toffee pudding. On offer too with 40% off. Our waitress Helen was lovely too, very helpful and professional. Compliments to Helen and obviously the chef who cooked our amazing food. Well done. Got our ember inn points too. 🤗
