The Gateway To India - Birmingham - Photo album

Good tasting Indian food and plenty of it. The street food menu looked great so must give that a go next time.
This restaurant is wonderful! From the moment we got in there, you could tell how much effort goes in to their presentation. From the tables, to the menu and to their food. The prices were the same as any good Indian restaurant, and the food was of high quality. I would highly recommend to anyone in
Delicious food and very friendly staff. The best naan I've ever tasted. Wheelchair accessible throughout including an accessible toilet.
We had an excellent meal at the Gateway to India. As a party of 5 we arrived into a busy restaurant and quite late at night but the staff were accomodating and pleasant. There was a very large party table ahead of us but it didn't have too much impact. The food itself was delicious and really well m
Lovely food, friendly staff, bright modern restaurant design.
From walking in staff were very professional and on point, no request was too big. Nicely decorated with clean rest rooms. Food was the best tasting curry we had both tasted in a while and was very well presented. 2 for 1 on tastecard across all courses made it value for money. Will definitely go
We ordered the butter chicken, korma, naans and pulao rice. It was the best curry I've ever had - my partner loves curry (he is a head chef), absolutely adored the meal. The food was very fresh and we felt the chefs really knew what they were doing in that kitchen! Highly recommended - staff were al
Great food once again, always good consistent tasty food and service every time we go.
Me and my husband were walking past and noticed this new restaurant, thought we'll try it out. The menu was listed with such tempting dishes. Never tried street food and loved it. Me and my husband are very fussy eaters, this place is full of original Indian flavours. The mains and the mixed grill
My husband took me to dinner on my birthday 4th may. We had a wonderful dining experience. Ambience o restaurant very pleasing and staff very attentive. My husband said it was the best Indian meal he has ever had.
Great hidden little restaurant. Menu is nicely presented on a newspaper and lots of amazing Street food variations of Indian cuisine. Shared three different starters and our mains were excellent. Friendly staff and well worth a visit!
Had the chicken biryani, naan, butter chicken, kachumber salad and mixed grill. All very tasty with the exception of the mixed grill; the chicken wings and tandoori pieces were dry and didn't seem freshly prepared. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Note, service charge is added to bill.
Nice ambience and staff. Regular Indian food with some Authentic taste. Slightly pricier. For half the price you can taste the mass food in buffet style in Jimmy Spices above this place.
Great cooking. Rich and varied flavours. Wonderdul staff. Reasonable pricing. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The pakoras greaseless and delicious. Not to be missed.
Very nice food, both veg and non veg.
