The Aston Tavern - Birmingham - Photo album

Held an event here for my child's first birthday party, Michelle was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to book another function here. Decor is extremely pleasant and we had plenty of positive comments from our guests.
The pub decor is very unexpected considering how close it is to the football ground. The staff were very friendly and sandwiches were fresh and nicely presented. Don't be put off by the road works outside the pub it is still open. Unfortunately it was very quiet so little atmosphere but I'm sure at
We found this place searching for something close to Aston Villa stadium, it fit the bill perfectly location wise. What we didn’t expect to find was the kindest, most helpful people on the planet running it, beautifully done up rooms, immaculate cleanliness and a little slice of history. I stay in
Liked the pub and the beer garden was great but went before the Springsteen concert and couldn't get a drink because of the queue at the bar - why not open a bottles only bar in the garden. You'd think with all the Villa games they would have adapted strategies to cope. The food was good but expensi
Viewed for a family event, so didn't eat or use their facilities at the time of the viewing. The venue is impressive with an oldy-worldy feel about it. Several rooms and areas to use for the time of your booking, which includes an inside courtyard and side garden and a U-shaped main function room. G
We stayed to attend a concert at Villa Park. From initial enquiry through to arrival, the level of service was superb. Michelle & her team, despite being swamped with hundreds of people all grabbing a beer pre-gig, were always there to make sure we were totally happy. The room was spotless. The brek
Stayed over night with my partner as I had an exam in Birmingham, would definitely come again for a weekend away or to watch the football next time. Room size was really good! Shower was lovely and hot, and the room was spotless. The whoke place was lovely and clean. The staff are fantastic, so poli
Great atmosphere on a match day and a huge space with various bars to ensure queues aren't too big! Spent the day here for the last game of the season and had a blast!
Was pleasantly surprise by the interior. Pleasant informative helpful staff. Ladies toilets held a few surprises. Outdoor spacious facilities.
Big screens, £5 entry with a free curry/chilli (plus a veggie option), Villa fan, great atmosphere.
This is a hidden gem tucked underneath the Aston Express Way. Beautifully decorated with original features still intact. Going back for afternoon tea.
Great venue pre villa match , just gets very very busy which probably tells you its a great place pre match 😎
A lot of underutilised potentially, but it looks like a great place with ambience. The service is very poor, and the bar staff interrupted assisting me to have a chat and a giggle with each other, terrible attitude
Great pub for pre match drinks. Even got a free curry with the £5 entry fee.
Amazing place , properly restored. But charging £500 for a stair spindle is pure rip of and very disappointing
Great value for money .... the start were very attentive . Plenty of sandwiches .. more so than any afternoon tea I have ever been to. Home made scones... would like to have had the option to have plain but they were delicious. Thank you for a lovely afternoon for our mums birthdays
Love this boutique hotel. Beautifully furnished, with astonishing details. Amazing staff.
Great venue and brilliant service from the staff. Amazing beer garden out back with live bands and great music.
Thanks for a wonderful welcome when we just turned up unannounced one Wednesday lunchtime. Really impressive warmth and hospitality.
