Lovely pub.very expensive for drinks.lovely decor throughout and a friendly barmaid.
Nice cosy place in town, about two mins walk from new street station and in China Town. Decent prices, quite a bit of seating. Can get quite busy and full. The music was a bit loud for us to have an easy conversation round a table, which was a bit annoying
Unfortunately we went just before closing, as would have stayed longer. However rather than rushing us to finish drinks, the bar staff advised they were shutting but would give us time. Decor was traditional and classy, and believe it would've been a pleasure to spend more time there
Party of 4 booked in for food before a show at the Hippodrome. Pub was very busy, but staff were on form, food arrived fairly quickly, 2 pizzas and a steak. Food was hot and tasty, would recommend for pre theatre grub and drinks.
Was our first time at Sly Fox, and we’re so happy to have ended up here!! Fantastic choice of gin and beers, lovely service and amazing pizza! Seriously amazing!
Absolutely beautiful food. Never had a bad meal yet! You can tell all the meals are freshly made to order and none of this microwave stuff. The staff are lovely, friendly and will always have a chat with you and always welcome you with a massive smile. A testament to a well ran pub with perfect ales
The first question my mum asked staff when walking in was 'is the food good?'... After we laughed about that we decided to give it a go. The food was... to say the least... very good indeed!!
Stopped for a few drinks here - really cool pub, feels very old school. Nice staff.
7000mls round trip, in 2022 to watch Birmingham play, popped in for a full English, loved it, went there for 8 days straight. 2023 another 7000mls round trip, when there today, will be back tomorrow.
Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Very popular. If going for food they do finish early.
Newly renovated, looks good. Decent choice of drinks and not bad food. English tapas is a nice touch.
Just popped in before a show but seemed a nice pub for a quite drink.
A really nice pub. Very central in B'ham. Reasonable prices and good bar food. My favorite place to go for a pint and some fish and chips.
Great location for meeting on Hurst st, dead across from hippodrome with a theatre vibe food menu looks ok
Nice popular oldy worldy pub. It can get busy, but service is good.
