A hidden gem! Amazing authentic Malaysian food cooked with love! We visited for the first time today & we were blown away with the flavours & warm, friendly service. The special was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tried! We’ll definitely be regulars here!
We were provided with brilliant food and service. The staff was very accommodating of us despite arriving late for our reservation. I would recommend the Nasi Lemak with curry ayam, Nasi goreng, and the pandan cheesecake. Having had teh tarik before I was expecting it to be cloying, but I was pleas
Nice little place in Moseley. First visit. Food was lovely. If you are a tea lover, definitely try the Malaysian tea.
Always a treat here. Malaysian and South East Asian food. The taste takes me back home every time!
If you are craving for authentic Malaysian food, I definitely recommend this place. I had the Penang Assam Laksa and my husband had the Char Kway Teow, both tasted very fresh and made from fresh ingredients. We also had the curry puff for starter, which is packed with the filling. Definitely best As
Came here on a busy Friday night with my parents, however the staff seemed relaxed and professional despite how busy it was. The food was delicious and the menu had extremely interesting dishes on it. I would highly recommend. Excellent food and service! It was a nice touch that the chef came over
Food was superb, very reasonably priced. Atmosphere in entering restaurant was buzzing. We sat downstairs were it was quieter, other customers arrived adding to atmosphere. Service was excellent. Definitely go back!
Good selection of delicious Malaysian food. The service was very friendly and efficient.
Lovely neighbourhood with lovely food. The charkueyteow has wok hei! Loved it. Highly recommend! <3 Malaysian pride!
Malaysian food cooked with heart. These 2 work their socks off as a residency in the pig and tail within the Jewellery quarter. Friendly waiting staff and the pub to boot we ended up going 2 of the 3 nights of our stay. We did venture to another and less said about that the better. The pub is a ge
Newly opened. Genuine tasty Malaysian cooking. Limited menu but cooked to order. We really enjoyed it. Even though we live 100 miles away I would consider coming again. Thank you for your friendly welcome.
We had a wonderful time here, the food was excellent! There are several veggie & vegan options available. For info, the Sambal chilli sauce isn't hugely spicy, it's nicely zingy. We weren't sure if it was going to be too spicy but we needn't have worried. It's not licensed so bring your own alcoho
Had a fantastic and delicious meal on the opening weekend - highly recommended. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Can’t wait to visit again to try some more dishes!
Wow the food here is top notch, I feel sad I've only just discovered this place has a guest kitchen spot at Pig and Tail but only for a few more weeks left! Nasi goreng set meal for £13.90 was good value, very filling and it was a nice touch it came with fried chicken, crackers, sambal and a pineapp
Didnt realised it is inside a pub. Food served quick and delicious. very fresh. love the chilli. drinks ordered from the pub itself. there are street parking around the area for free. just need to walk for a bit. a few places have to pay. do look out.
Initially hard to find, but well worth the search. The small eatery is situated within the pigs & tail pub, so you get to enjoy the contrasting archaic British interior of the old pub whilst feasting on fresh and vibrant Malaysian cuisine.
I've never written a review for a restaurant before, but after visiting Lisa and Pann yesterday, I felt that they definitely deserved one. We visited yesterday for Valentine's day and despite being quite late to our reservation, we were greeted quite warmly and even had a whole booth reserved for us
To my experience, Lisa & Pann's Kitchen offers the most authentic Malaysian dishes in Birmingham. To highlight a few - Nasi Lemak, Char Kway Teow, Hainanese Chicken Rice, and Penang Laksa. I felt honoured to be the first batch to taste the Pandan Kaya (a Pandan flavoured coconut paste). This goes
We had a fantastic lunch today. Such a friendly welcoming place. Really family friendly. We went without our kids but will be back with them :) Lovely fresh food, tasty and good value. The pandan cheesecake was so delicious and light. A really great addition to Kings Heath's independent food scene.
