Merrymaid Bar & Grill - Birmingham - Photo album

Seen so many people raving about this place, I've been meaning to visit for a while. Finally got round to it. Firstly you see a lot of reviews talking about the interior, but I actually don't mind it. It brings back memories of how these places used to be before they took off. You definitely won't
Warm, friendly atmosphere with good honest food. The starters were excellent, a lovely Rita, crisp poppadoms and a nice chutney and pickle. The fish pakoras were delicious, crispy and a perfect amount of spice to them. The mixed Grill was excellent, I didn't expect anything else, as I'd heard lots o
Great food and great service! Came here on recommendation from family and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious - Best mixed grill I’ve had and the service was lovely to match! Would definitely visit again :)
Stopped here by chance as we were in the area. We ordered a small mix grill which was flavoursome and generously sized and some fish pakora. The food didn't take long and we could see it being prepared through the kitchen hatch. The decor was dated and plain but don't be put off by it. The food is
Nice place, good service.. Just went there by chance but can't complain taste was good.
Been going here for a number of years and have never been letdown by the food once even after some changes. Always a great service, even at busy periods and the staff are very welcoming. Word of advice for anyone wanting to come to eat, definitely try to book a table in advance as it can be pretty f
First time there, lovely staff. Food was amazing and large portions. Would definitely go back again. Xx
Some of the best food I have ever eaten highly recommended
Delicious flavoursome food, highly recommend the mixed grill. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the pub has a lovely atmosphere.
Good food, reasonable prices, good atmosphere, can't fault it. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. From the outside it looks like a typical British pub but similar to The Vine when you venture into the back there's a dining and pool area (heads up on this the door from the main bar is si
Awesome food and good service. Standard pub and off road parking. Snooker table at the back. Toilets are a little iffy... Overall, a good place for food. Punjabi chef. Enough said.
Very nice place for food and drink excellent helpful staff one of the best spots for a nice mix grill. Good selection of drinks
This place has such a great friendly feeling. Staff are welcoming, lots of space so covid compliant. Food is yummy and morish and tandoori roti is a perfect accompanyment to any wet curry. Smile
Like a normal pub but the food was 10/10, service brilliant made you feel welcome helpful and polite, will definitely go back
Old school pub with regulars. If you want some good authentic Indian food with no frills ans reasonably priced then look no further in this area.
A friendly pub that offers a fantastic curry. The mixed grill is outstanding and you get plenty. I've also tried the chilli chicken, chicken madras and chicken tikka wrap. All were just as good. If I had to be ultra critical then I'd say the place could really do with a refurb. But to me personally
Came here after the cricket and it was perfect. Great curry, good jukebox, a pool table and football on the TV.
Great food and service. Will definitely be going there again.
Went to celebrate Lyndseys birthday I had chicken pathia but it was very sweet however I find restaurants vary in this dish So next time I will try another dish the service is good staff very friendly We will be back
