Lovely food and friendly staff, will certainly go back when I am in the area.
We booked last minute for lunch today however, there were a couple of tables free despite there being some large tables reserved for a function taking place. This affected how quickly the food came out however, we had time to kill and it was definitely worth the wait. The food was excellent and the
I didn't eat on this visit, but plan to return. Emma is a star bartender x. Will edit upon returning.
Haven't been there for a few years, but I was suitably impressed. Drink prices were reasonable, outside seating, ample parking and great food. Looked just like a pub used to feel pre lock-down. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing.
Nice pub, friendly staff and has disabled access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Had to wait 45mins for food but the food was pretty good once it had arrived and the beer was good and at a fair price which is what it's all about
Great drinks selection and good food menu. We went for an Ubu & Coors while browsing the menu, in a nice quiet corner of the pub. Lovely decor and a nice fire to keep warm. We decided on the seabass each, with lemon butter and a side of cauliflower cheese and steamed greens. Very tasty and great va
Drinks were served quick, but we were served an alternative without being told the requested drink was unavailable. Food had a long wait on, as it always does at the Selly Park Tavern. Chicken burger was really good, duo of roasts were very nice, and the sticky toffee pudding was great, however the

Lovely pub. Conveniently located within walking distance of Cannon Hill Park. Very nice food and good Sunday Lunch deals. Bit stingy on the gravy though lol.
Great place to spend a few hours before the cricket at edgbaston
Terrific meal. Well cooked, my steak medium to rare perfect. Lovely atmosphere. Will go back soon
Welcoming staff. Good food. Welcoming atmosphere on a very wet day! They had reserved our table for us too
Great pub for a pre- match pint. Good service, good beers, decent atmosphere. Short walk to Edgbaston. Worth consideration.
Good landlord & landlady & staff. Know their customers well. Always made to feel welcome. Reminds me of how pubs used to be.
Nice place to pop in for a bit of pub grub and a pint. Decent sized car park to rear, that you must then enter your car reg on a screen at the bar.
Moved right next door to this place on the 23/12/2022. I have to say I'm rather happy. What a beautiful pub this is. From the ambiance to the quality of the food & drink to the staff. It's a cracking place that I'm so happy to live right next door too. Having this as a local is a blessing. Being dog
Good priced pub food with a nice real fire. Service has always been good and I have visited at least three times in the last month. We quite like the nacho share starter and the pies are proper pies.
