Just returned from a wonderful evening at The Spice Merchant. Wanted a restaurant to take our guest from the South West to and so glad we chose here. Excellent, friendly service and some of the best food we've had locally. Would definitely recommend.
They may have been going for many years but they seem to be on a roll at the moment with a great atmosphere and excellent food.

Exceptional restaurant, service, and of course, food. Yes the prices have gone up, but its still cheaper than others places. Quality tastes - all served within a great atmosphere. Been there several times whilst visiting Brum and we always make a beeline for it.
Very good place to eat. Beautiful food, nice staff, take your own alcohol helps keep the bill down. Parking is a bit of an issue, thanks to the local council, a taxi is recommended. You need to book, enjoy!

Delicious curry, hot and full of flavour, served without fuss or delay. A friendly team ready to chat or to suggest dishes. I have always felt completely satisfied on my visits here.
