Was almost put off by the mixed reviews but we went because it was close and we wanted pub food in a family-friendly pub... The food turned out to be really very good and the drinks were a good price. The staff were very friendly and nice and the food came quickly. The kids menu was only good for our younger child (10 years) but the prices were good enough that we didn't mind getting our elder child (12) an adult meal. All-in-all a pleasant, wallet-friendly experience.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Seen and heard the the sizzling food on another customers table.I had a lovely sizzling chicken rice and salad. Hot and very tasty and delicious Thank you to the chef Nigel. Pub very clean and tidy. Will definitely call again chef.

Arrived to sticky menus and was not impressed until food arrived. We had burgers which were big and juicy, nicest pub burgera weve had in ages. Deserts were chocolaty and plentiful. Staff were helpful and friendly and pub atmosphere was good. For standard pub chain it was better than others. Sticky menu forgiven and i will happily return.
